Am so glad you are back. Been waiting patiently for an update. I think Declan really loves Mallory but her heart still belongs to Rory. Even with all the drama between them the heart wants what the heart wants. She is just tired of hurting and in essence is loving who loves her not necessarily who she loves. She is just tired of being hurt. Rory has a whole lotta problems caused by his 'loving' parents !!!! They are horrible parents whose son is falling apart infront of thier eyes but its more convenient for them not to see it. Poor Rory I cant wait for thm to come together.

Wow great chapters. This story has especially tug at my heartstrings because well Im a fine artist... well I was but haven't created anything is years. And let me tell you its like a hole inside of is missing and its very hard. Stuff in life happens and you find yourself creatively stumped. When you loose your mojo sometimes you gotta reinvent yourself to get it back. For me it was writing. ;) And little by little I get those highs I got in painting. I so love this story and these characters. Love the drama, and vulnerability. Thank you for sharing your talent. Please update soon!

Those really are some painful memories for anyone to face.  I hope that they will both be able to face them in order to move forward and realize that they are made for each other.  they need one another because they complete one another and that will never change.

Honestly, I'm team Rory.  Yes, the guy is the biggest, hottest mess.  However, he's mentally ill.  No he doesn't have hallucinations, no he doesn't have multiple personalities, but he has a true mental illness.  He pushed her into a glass table, by accident.  I'm sure whatever he did to contribute to her blindness was an accident.  That does not mean that he is excused of his cheating, or what other jerk behavior he did, but some of this stuff is a result of his illness.  And he deserves help.  I feel like he's extremely sensitive and deep down a decent person.  I honestly do feel for the guy.  He needs people in his corner who recognizes that, and I think that Mallory and even Declan both do, but Mallory is still Raw from everything.  But she seems so patient regarding his OCD, and that's not something he would easily find elsewhere.  I don't think they are beyond the point of repair at all.  I've seen couples go through way worse and never even break up. 

I'm not seeing romance between Declan and Mallory at all.  It's just not even there to me.  However, I do like Declan as a character.  Good guys are needed too, and I don't find that aspect of him boring or dull.  I just don't think he's for Mallory.

I have to say I love that some want Mallory and Declan together. But I realize that sometimes the person that is right for you isn't always best. Declan is right for Mallory but I think the reason Mallory was drawn to Rory was because she was/is going to discover something truly profound and deep about herself. The thing about artist or any creative type for that matter is there is something that they can see that not all can see. Rory isn't this blank canvas, he is this beautiful picture of mixed emotion, and contradictions that when you see him, truly see him, you are able to understand him. Its the connection that draws Rory and Mallory together. Declan is like a blank canvas in the sense that no matter what you paint of him you will always be able to understand and connect to him. He's like an open book. And in the end I think Mallory and Declan are too alike in so many ways that it will take away something in the both of them. Their friendship is what they both need. But anything more might destroy them.

The talk(s) between them are needed and the sooner the better. I feel like Mallory & Rory fit together in a way that I'm not sure she and Declan would. I want them to be able to heal the past together and make it work.

Yeah, it is trending differently. I just don't really understand how yet.

I worry about Declan's presence in Mallory's life. He's her friend now, but that wasn't how he started out. Does he really accept this role in her life? It doesn't seem from the little that's been revealed, that she felt the same way. Declan is too close to both in somewhat uncomfortable ways to me.

Rory is just really a hot mess! His parents really did a number on him. And where are these parents of theirs?

I wonder if there is a way to get her sight back? What is the extent of her injuries? 

Oh man , what happened to the blood shed?  Declan was suppose to kick Rory's ass and he felt sympathy for his impending meltdown.  I would like to know cause her blindness, did the fall sever her optical nerve?  Were her cornea's demaged by the fall down the stairs?  I felt so bad for Rory, he is just a mess, a fine mess but a mess none-the-less!!  Great update!!
