And instantly, I'm hooked! Can't wait to see what kind of sparks fly between Jayden and Tam.  She's already admitted to herself that she was in love with him and if that necklace is any indication, that she never fell out of love. She's angry that he didn't choose their love over the status quo.

The story promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions.

Phenomenal start!

Noooo! The chapter is over. I really want to know what happens next!

I loved it, as I always love your stories. Wow...I'm so annoyed with Jayden's parents assuming the worst. But what can you expect from narrow minded racists? Jayden was clearly a whimp and decided to be miserable instead of being happy. I wonder whether he'll be able to stand up to his parents when he'll try to get things right with the love of his life. 
I really hope that Tamaeya will not make it easy for him. He needs to work extra hard to get back in her good graces. 
I really want to meet the two kids. :D

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Jayden thought at that time that his parents were all that he had.  They knew of his condition and he felt that they accepted him and loved him anyway.  He wasn't so sure about Tam.  This is how they controlled him all those years.  Now things are going to change because he has children to consider.
