UGH I JUST REREAD THIS PLZ COME BACK.
I know you're busy, but if I fall anymore in love with this book I might be on Maury talking about *cue Maury angles* "Unguarded" has two children that are 500% his.

Short, but very sweet. Love the raw moments, and adorable cameos from Apples and Peaches (the felines). Henry really is a lot more tortured than he ever lets on.

That was great. He's showing emotion and telling her how he feels even though he's so sad right now. It's important that he called her. We know she loves him, but she's been scared. I think they're making a breakthrough. Things should get better and better for their relationship. I really want them to be happy, get married and have some kids. Fill up the big house!!! Great update.

Wow! What a great moment between the two of them. Love how Henry finally broke down and is releasing what's inside. It was raw and I felt like I was in the moment with them. My fav chapter thus far.

This update was the best one yet. The development of your characters really shows and it's so uplifting to see them swtich roles. Val taking on the suit and armor while Henry is the damsel. We constantly see him chasing Val and attempting to rescue her, but now we are able to see her growth as she rescues him from his own demons. It's the first time she acknowledges her insecurities in a relationship then dismisses them for someone's greater good and I'm proud of Val for that. Hopefully this chapter or the next few marks a turning point for their relationship. Henry is growing up and setting roots, Val is accepting herself, and overall they are becoming better and letting go of their own personal chains and baggage keeping them from happiness.

WAHHHHHHHHHH :((((( THAT IS SO DAMN HEARTBREAKING ! Seriously to see him so broken... He's like trying to be strong around her even though he's mourning. His guards finally came shattering down and it really broke them both. I honestly cannot wait for the next chapter. It's painful to think of how much heartache they must be going through. To be so close to each other but to be so far in a sense. I don't want her to jump back to him straight away, but like she said, he needed her. I'm so fucken happy that you updated. Henry is my all time favourite. I love how he kept saying that she was too good for him... When others would say the exact opposite to her. It's so heartbreaking when he says he loves her... Because she wouldn't believe him in a sense AND who could blame her. But this chappie was beautiful as always.
