Honestly, I know Henry has problems as well, but I feel like all Val does is hop in to comfort him. Like every time they are apart she changes but he is still hung up on her not going anywhere. Is this because of his ego and confidence? Where does he go, I feel like he is tooooo careless when it comes to giving her what she/they wants.

literally cried. I balled like a little bitch. The amount of heartache in this chapter... oh god. I thought it couldnt get more emotional, and yet you go ahead and do this! lol it was amazing. i honestly love val even more now. She was determined to stay strong and not fall into Henry's arms once again so easily.I loved how she actually was the one to call the shots and i love how raw his feelings were. you could see that he obviously had so much more to say to her but it just wasnt the right time. when he begged her to not run away from her, i was like ... oh god... this is all too much. He meant it literally and emotionally. he felt her pulling away which is what amazes me and he isnt willing to give her up. You can see the determination in his words. OMGGGG PLEEASSSSEEEE LET SOMETHING HAPPEN WITH GEORGE AND VAL!! AS IN PLEASE BRING THAT ASSHOLE IN THE PICTURE!! i hope val makes him eat his own words. it's crazy dont you think? in some fucked up way, george loved her. I honestly cant deal with george. if henry meets him... omgggg someone better pray for him lol Henry was beyond hot when he was getting all protective and shit. i reckon he's an undercover when it comes to jealousy and possessiveness. i mean remember when he got drunk and told the guy to take his hands off of val?! that was soooo hot! ahhhhhhh cannot wait for more!!! thank you so much for this! my all time favourite!!!

What a fabulous gift! I love that we now have a name for this mysterious protector. I also love the insight into George and his and Valerie's relationship. I always wondered exactly what he was like because when dissecting the little details, he'd seem like a horrible monster and then not so much. That conversation clarifies things; he really was a mind-fuck. Amazing, as always, and I'm going to be checking obsessively for the next update! That sweet, sweet Henry...

Henry, I live him and really want him and Val to end up together. She has a huge breakthrough with admitting everything that happened with that other jerk. I can see why he is defensive of her. She really needs to stand up to her father about evening in her life and how he has a huge impact on her development into the person she is. However, I know it'll take her a while until to get to that point, but with Henry by her side I think it will be dinner rather than later. It makes me sad that they didn't the months apart. I'm glad Henry contacted her when his father passed away. Hopefully, Val can help him get through this. This is one more situation that will help them grow together. Maybe, just maybe Val well be able to talk with her dad after this. Update soon.

Val beingable to tell someone that story is probably her biggest breakthrough. She may not need a therapist anymore. I hate to see that her father is all about his ego and can't take the time to be supportive instead of controlling. Glad to see Henry didn't put his boxing skills to use on the old man.
