She should run to the nearest exit. He only began pursuing her when she fell in his lap and his reason is his sisters well being. So whose to say if his sister has a set back he won't press pause again. That excuse is lame at best. If she has blossomed the way it seems I hope she either makes him prove himself or moves on.

Hello! Thank you for your review! You brought up some points I think many other readers may be feeling so I thought it best to reply. Bulimia and anorexia are very serious diseases and putting aside three years to ensure Nadia's safety isn't a lame excuse, he is just trying to be truthful. And I think you should consider the following: how could he genuinely and whole-heartedly try to win Sasha back if the problem that tore them apart is still an issue? Dmitri wasn't simply thinking of himself but what was best for both Sasha and Nadia. Nadia needed her older brother, one of the only people she feels connected to in order to begin healing, and Sasha needed time to find herself and become a stronger and more independent woman. I don't want to give anything away but I will say that his pursuit of Sasha didn't start at the networking event. I hope you keep reading! And thanks again for your comments!

I am probably the only one that doesn't understand why she is still so mad at him. A lot of their problems was she couldn't stay in her own lane. He told her to stay out of it but she kept pushing. sure in the end he ended it badly. However, he was upset and worried about his sister. that doesn't make it right but her attitude to me is uncalled for. where is her blame? or is it all just on him. sure she's stronger now but her attitude is a little off. Sorry I like him from the beginning, I just think as in all relationships we need to respect others boundaries and she didn't know hers. He is calmer now and will treat her better but she needs to get off that horse...

Even if she doesn't take Dmitri back they both need to talk. Sasha need to open up about herself and all her past and present insecurities. Dmitri need to do the same. Maybe proceed as friends, a relationship isn't in the cards right now. Both still need to work through their individual problems.
Sasha thinks burying her issues and putting up walls is the best way to go...she is so wrong.

First, i want to say i love your story, i really do, but Dmitri... I just can't, i don't like him. He disrespected and humiliated her so many times and now he is telling her that he's loved her from the begining ???? Is this a joke ? Did he loved her when he ignored her in front of her friends ? Did he loved her when he treated her like shit after the party when she met his father for the first time ? And did he loved her when he humiliated her at the hospital ? What kind of love is that... Now we have to understand him and feel for him because he had a terrible childhood, is it his excuse ? He just have to buy her some flowers, take her at some expensive restaurant, beg a couple of time tell her how much he loves her et voila ! No, i don't buy that. I dislike him so much right now and the way he is acting to win her back is insulting for me. I want Sasha to tell him to kiss her ass and go to hell and to find love and happyness with someone else (carter or anybody else), I know is not the way that is going to happen and infortunatly she is going right back in his arms (again). I really hate Dmitri but i love your story and i'm totally "team Sasha without Dmitri" !

Thank you so much for your review and I am happy you are enjoying the story. Just thought I'd help to clear a few things up: Dmitri hasn't yet admitted to loving her unfortunately. His point with the date wasn't to impress (Sasha is already aware of how much money he has) but he is attempting to restore the bad memories she has of him. He is finally acknowledging and admitting his mistakes when it comes to her. And I don't want you to think that all is forgiven simply because he had a bad childhood; I just want the readers to understand his reasoning a little bit more and, in order to do that, you need a bit more of his backstory. He has been independent since his mother died and coming to the realization that he felt the same need for Sasha as she did for him was new territory and scared him. So, he pushed her away. His efforts of romancing her with the roses and the restaurant isn't meant to be insulting at all. He never did these things for her when they were dating (if you remember, the night Sasha met his father was important to her because it was the first time they had a 'fairytale' date and he acknowledged her relationship to him in a public setting). For Sasha, she has never been romanced like that before and made to feel precious or cared for. So, I do think that his actions in getting her forgiveness are on the right track. He can never completely make up for what he did but the fact that he is trying to humble himself and finally show through his actions how much he wants her is a step in the right direction. Also, we shouldn't forget that while he may have overreacted at the hospital, he had every right to be angry at Sasha for overstepping.
Again, thank you so much for your review and I hope that you grow to like Dmitri a little more and continue reading. I'll do my best to better explain Dmitri's side of things. :-)

Hmm.. Well since he apologize so nicely. I am willing to say I would like to see how far is he willing to make it up to Sasha. He better move the stars and the seas with all that romantic lovey-dovey words and keep ALL his promises in showing Sasha just how specaial and wonderful she is. Then MAYBE, I might forgive him... I am not too sure if he even deserves her. I want Sasha to want to be happy with him.. He doesn't deserve her in any shape or form.
But you have to forgive at some point.... I love the chapter. I think Dom is moving in the right direction but I don't know if he REALLY means it... I can't wait for the next chapter. I hope you post again today, since it's my birthday wish and all today. LOL!!

I'm softening up to Dimitri because his regret and love for her seems genuine! I'm still for sasha making him work hard though..prove that he'll be there no matter what they encounter. I love Dominic, btw. And i wanted sasha to go off more on faye, but I'm glad she threw a lil shade her way! I like the woman she is becoming and I hope she gets the love and family she's always wanted.

Good chapter, although I would have liked to have see more of Sasha telling Faye off a little more and to see what came of that. Maybe Teagan can see Faye for the bitch she really is.
