Chapter 4

Please, please, please do NOT let Melody fall for Mark.  She seems to be a marture, confident, classy, ADULT female who recognizes not only her own worth, but the worth of those around her.  She is way to precious to waste herself on the whiny, privileged, spoilt-boy-in-a-man's-body that is Mark.

The fact the he preferred her when she was willing to let him treat her as 'less-than' says enough about his character.  If he did come back to Gareth for her, it was not to 'win' her and it was definitely not out of love.  He just missed the blind adoration of someone who he didn't have to consider on any level; he missed the convenience of her former self.

That person is dead, may she rest in peace.  Mark shouldn't be, can't be, a blip on Melody's radar.

after thinking a bit more about this story, i think mark gave him to peer pressure and the ideas his parents social class placed on him.  he was not a good friend to her, but he was a friend at a time when he was not suppose to even acknowledge her.

This chapter was great! Hahaha at Mark for not only getting cussed out but the door slammed in his face!  The nerve to show up! He did a lot of damage to Melody emotionaly and he needs to suffer :) Not sure I even want him to turn out to be the good guy and that is a first for me. Look forward to more! Nobody want him to be the good guy. i think i made him a little too mean during his teenage years but alas he is the main guy. I will have to make it work some how.

 

Always wanted to slam a door in someone's face and there are more than a couple guys i would like to practice on. More is coming soon.

This is a great story so far. Please update soon.

Ok, I hope she isn't going to forgive Mark of everything he's done to her easily. It seems like she would be selling herself short if she forgives him and gets back together with him. Especially, after her late husband showed her how a man is suppose to treat her. 

Mark has a long uphill journey ahead of him. I hope he feels everything bad that he has made Melody feel.

It's never easy to forgive and Mark is going to have to work for it. I really wanted to show how time can change a person, he wont be perfect but he is a work in progress.

This story just gets better. Mark is in denial, to go to the home of the woman who you humiliated for years. Whom you used because you were aware of her love for you. You Mark are a jackass with asshole characteristics! When Ana slammed the door in his face I smiled the smile of Chester the Cheetah. I love Melissa, Ana and Simon they are the ace boom coon of characters! Thanks for the fabulous update you are an rock star Shy angel!

Read both chapters! Grear start to what looks like to be a very good story! Loved that Melody had those snobs pretty near speechless and as for Mark, he is a tool and glad his marriage ended in divorce. Look forward to reading more.

That was perfect, Mark's were both about to have aneurysms from anger that she had bested them. Mark you are really stupid did you really think after you and your parent treated Melissa that she would still look at you with love and affection! You go girl, that was awesome she pit everyone in their place without breaking a sweat!

haha yes I love it ! she definitly rubbed her money in their faces. melody was so cool and nonchalant about it. what better way to do it than in a valetino dress and a rolls royce. she definitly didn't need their approval or acceptance. mel is her own woman. its the towns turn now to do some groveling.
