Sooooo...1st thing 1st : thanks for the new chapter. It has been a long time! So I still like the story, the writing, the characters. BUT I SO HATE that PREGANCY STORYLINE ! UGH ! I just can't get over the fact that we got played around with the false pregnancy alarms to have them be declared false and then...BIG PLOT TWIST: SHE'S PREGNANT! I think it is a very cheap move.

Then comes the other very predictable move : of course she is going to keep it. Like, only bad bad girl gets abortion, right? Thats the pattern in almost every story out there. The "bad" girl has had or is having abortions. The "good" girl is going ahead with the pregnancy. No lead female character, no proper heroine can make that  choice? I am being a bit harshg but it's because I am disapointed with the way the story is going. I find it so predicatable and...unoriginal.

Like, for once, what about writing about a complex and sometimes annoying but still likable good decent female lead character who gets pregnant by accident and decides to have an abortion with the support of her lover? What about exploring THAT journey? It is complicated, messy, difficult. I wouldn't think less of her if she did do it. I wouldn't like her more, she would still be annoying with being angry with everyone, and still be an overall nice decent girl I ultimately root for. Is it too much to ask, really?

I guess I am being unfair asking for that to this specific story. Especially as I really like this story. I like Roddrick and Milo and I want them together. I even like big mouth Danny, who was being so rude and horrible to Milo, even if she thought she was "standing for her girl". It's just...yeah, a bit disappointing.
