If it's not supernatural anymore, where are the voices coming from and how is he able to talk to her without her seeing him. Is he talking to her in her head? Or am I totally off-base. So glad that you're back.

I had stopped reading this for a minute because it was a little too real. Her nasty stepfather beating her and trying to force her into a sexual situation turned my stomach. Some dude at school beating the sh*t out of a girl and somehow people are just allowing that to happen, not saying a thing, added to that foulness. I've wanted to hurt both of these people. But I'm back in now because there just has to be some justice for Kenzi somehow here. I am so here for that!

Yes. It is a bit emotional, isn't it?
Which is why I put that warning in the descriptor. When I sat down to write, that's simply what came to me and so I wrote it down. To be honest, I get a bit shy and self-concious about people who know me reading it because they seem to think that perhaps I must have went through these sort of ordeals in order to write about them. Although, it is nice to have experince about the things that I write about, this is not one of those instances. All I am capable of doing is attempt to put my head into that sort of mindset and use my imagination to conjure the scence.
So with that shpeel done, I am so happy and thrilled that you find my writing of Kensington's life and experinces to be "real". That truly means a lot to me as a writer.
I'm hapy that you're back in and reading the story and I am sorry that darkness is needed to truly appreciate the light. Bear with me though, we still are in the dark ages of Kenzie's life.

Long time no see, I'm glad that you decided to grace us with an update. I had actually forgotten about this story and so I read it again and I liked it again lol. I hope she doesn't get herself beaten up again, and I also really really hope that she takes up the mysterious voices advice and beat him without doing anything illegal. But it's also abit dodge so I don't fully trust it why does it want to help her? What's in it for whom ever it is that keeps speaking to her, hmm I wonder. Anyway I am looking forward to more so please do not disappear. This story is great.

I suppose I should have added that to the Writer's Memo. It it going to stay realistic. It's more organic that way, to me, and everything that has happened thus far has an explanation. I think I am saving the supernatural for a different story. :]

I like mystery man's suggestion to get even with Stan without using violence as he has to get back at him. His blood does not need to be on her hands and she does not need to go to jail for him.
