I am so pissed at Jay is stringing that ho Jaime when he will never love like he loves Tess.  Why should Tess fight for Tess when Jay isn't fighting for her? Come on Jay sexing up Jaime is not showing Tess that you want a second chance at love with her.  NOt going to therapy and working on issues is not showing Tess that you want a second chance.    Your father has messed you up and you need to sit down a speak with your parents.  Where are is parents and what is there opinion of this debacle?  In the last chapter you said that they had separated for 7 months and now it's year. Please clarify?  She still loves Jay and I think that she running because she is still scared to give her heart.  Tess is afraid to share of whole self with Jay and Jay wants to dwell in the land denial.  These two make my teeth itch!!

Tess is moving on and I don't blame her, but she will always love Jay bc we all have that 'one' and he was hers'.  Tess can still be happy-happy, but she just won't be HAPPY-HAPPY.

Now Jay will finally have to sh*t or get off the pot, hopefully it is not too late (should've took Tucker's advice).  But Jay wil probably ask Jamie to move in or marry him--like I wrote before: intelligent, but dumb. 

Good touch with his senstive soul crying on the toilet, but he should've known Tess wouldn't hang in limbo forever.   I think I would have done what Tess did, esp after the girl came to my job and his dumbass sent her.  Yeah, let J&J continue and see where there 'relationship' takes them.  When Tess meets someone else she needs to keep everybody out of her business. 

I am so glad I didn't read this at work :-).  I am so into your story that i read the reviews to warn me before I read the updates.

Tess--I am proud of you, so proud, because I could not have dealt with you for as long as Jay did.  If you and Jay get back together and have kids, I hope they have your common sense, bc husband dearest is intelligent, but oh so dumb.

Jay--Hopefully you haven't slept with immature Placeholder, yet, but she is pretty territorial toward you, so...  When you confess that you are still married and has been cheating on your wife, again, you are going to be shocked at the hatred toward Tess your new 'girlfriend' is going to spew.  Maybe you will come to your senses when you realize you have been dipping your penis and your tongue in that sewage.  Hope Placeholder's  dad has paid you in full for your work.  Did I say I was proud of Tess already?  I am proud of Tess.

Jas and Tucker-- came through.  Hope Jas didn't kill Toni, though.

Eric--fingers crossed that his new woman is really a man or had five kids hidden. Eric is selfish and will always be selfish. 

I think Jay did learn something from therapy, but Tucker still had to break it down to him.  Jay is still indecisive, but I hope he don't stutter when he deals with Jamie.  This man is having sex with someone already and claiming her around town as his girlfriend...that's pretty trashy. 

I think I would have respected Jay more if he had had some random hookups to take the edge off.  But the majority of men don't fare well when left alone for long periods: little head takes over.  I don't even wanna guess what your next update will be about, but you have been doing a fantastic job!

Too much damn drama!! Tess needs to have Jay served with divorced papers. Jab needs a real wake up call and I do believe serving him with divorce papers may it do it. Tess shouldn't get involved with anyone until she is absolutely sure her relationship with Jay is over. 

Now, I know Tess has been to therapy and all, and she's changed and everything, but damn, what I wouldn't give for her to dust that bitch across the floor. *glad I got that out*

First, Jasmine is hardcore. Jay best be glad that Jasmine didn't think he needed some retribution.

Second, Jay has not learned a damn thing. That little dustup in the grocery store was ALL ON HIM. Placeholder? Really? Jay, with his simple ass, is still not ready for Tess. And Tess should see that. Be strong girl, stay far away. Until that fool can act like a grown-ass man and not some simple f*cker, give him a wide berth.

I can not wait for the next update to see how it goes down with Jay and the "placeholder". And Tucker has more sense in his little pinky than Jay has in his whole body. I've been a Jay suppporter (still am), but simple is as simple does. And Jay is SIMPLE.

Whew, I gots to go for a massage to calm down behind this fool.

jay, i'm still rooting for ya, man...but you've got to put on your big boy pants and do what's necessary to make this right.  tess is growing and changing; you need to get on the good foot and do that, too!

I actually won't jump on the Jay hate wagon just yet possibly because I would like to know if he has slept with this girl first. To me they have been separated for approx a year or more and he has always let Tess run things so he is not going to ask for a divorce, Tess would have to.  Not all men are Alpha's and Jay appears to be that.  If Tess is threatened or anything he will rise up with a quickness to protect her against a guy but it seems when it is a woman his brain cells stop working.  We can see if he has any growth depending on how he handles this situation with Jamie.   I definitely feels like he needs to maybe continue therapy. Chick felt  threatened because she knew Jay was never that into her in the first place, she probably pursued him.  He needs to drop her and like his brother said, start begging Tess for another chance because right now it doesn't look good for Jay.  

Toni...wow; I am proud of how Tess handled Jamie. She has indeed come a long way. Jay on the other hand makes me sick; what is it with this dude? I cannot stand men who string women along, then don't say what they mean, and then to let that thing disrespect Tess. Yes, I have been a harsh critic of Tess when she deserved it, but Jamie was out of line. Jay did not have to tell Jamie they were married in the store, but he seems to always get himself into these snits. Always. He needs to tell Jamie the truth and fast, he playing with her too. Loved this update!

Yes Lawd, Tess has changed!!  I was ready for Tess to give Jamie a nice upper cut!! I can't wait to see how this works out!! 

It appears the therapy has helped and they both are seeing things clearly.  Jay is a lying mess.  If you love Tess, dump this girl and get your woman back.

It appears Tess has grown.  Now Jay needs more therapy.

Can I just say I am a huge fan of this story and have been following and checking daily for updates?! Many thanks for sharing your talent and work with us. 

I do have a few tips for the story as follows:

1. Tess and Jayare seriously damaged individuals who need a significant amount of time apart before they can heal as a couple. Perhaps they may need to separate for years before coming back together. They both need individual counselling before they can get couples counselling which is pointless at this juncture. I honestly don't know if they could ever be healthy as a couple.
2. Jay is pathetic. He has no backbone and seems incredibly childish. It's just too much. 
3. Tess on the other is like Sheera. She could probably fight Jay physically and win cos she walks all over him. They have an abusive, distrustful relationship which is completely unhealthy and I can't see how they can be together.
4. I don't understand how Tess has been missing for a week and no one looked for her for a week! It's not like she is a recluse with no neighbours or something. She has family, she has friends, and she has partners at work. How did it take a WHOLE WEEK before they start looking? No one thought to call the police?
5. Why did Eric not tell anyone of Tess' whereabouts for a week? Surely her next of kin should have been notified at the point where she nearly died???
6. Then when she does wake up having been "in and out" for nearly a week and having nearly died at one point, she seems to have the energy to shout, bang her fists and even reach and get a drink for herself? How was did she have that strength? Why didn't Jay call a nurse or doctor as soon as he knew she was conscious? How did she have the energy and strength to do all those things having just come out of a coma? It should have been nigh on impossible for her to speak with a dry throat, but she only gets the water at the tail end of the conversation, and I would have though she would be way to weak to be raising her limbs let alone banging fists.

Yeah Jay screw up big time  and Tess is at fault as well. There was not enough trust between both of them. I think Toni deserve some payback for pushing Tess over edge. Jay and Tess need some time away from every one around them so they work both of there issues.
