Definitely intersted!! I love stories with children, because the actions and decisions must be serious for their sake...oh, i just love family scenes!! I hope C is not a womanizer. I wonder wher the other man will be coming from! I can't wait to read more about this atyoical family!!

Sorry Carlos. I know this story hasn't started yet, but we've all seen this one before. This lady has been waiting for him to wake up and smell the hot chocolate for twelve years. He's a grown man, and I'm sure that by now he knows what he likes. She's been selling herself short, letting him take up all of her time and suck up her emotional energy, while her own needs go unfulfilled. (Can we say cobwebs?) Why does a beautiful, successful, well educated and desirable woman who is a good mother have to wait for anybody to realize her worth? Oh! That's right. She doesn't. If it took another man sniffing around her skirts and offering to take care of those cobwebs for old boy to wake up, then it strikes me as possessiveness and a sense of entitlement. Maybe his character wants us to think that he never realized his true feelings, but one of my favorite quotes is, "There are none so blind as those who will not see." He took it for granted that when he was done playing in the streets, she'd be his soft place to land, complete with loving child. All he had to do was monopolize her, and make sure that she didn't form an emotional connection with another man. That might have worked when she was younger, but when you hit thirty, hopefully you stop being stuck on stupid, take a good look at what you want and go after it. As you can tell, I'm already into this. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
