I really loved writing about Iliana and Jorge. Their relationship is exciting and intense. It also gave me a chance to feature a Latina as a prominent character, a pulmonary surgeon. She lives her life passionately.

So, I know I'm supposed to sympathize with Erin, but I really don't like her right now. I hate drunk driving. I know it's just the first update and we don't know that much about her. However, she's a fracking doctor. Throwing her whole career away over a man. I mean I don't get it. Obviously she worked her ass off to get where she is. Hmm...I could only pity her during the argument betwen her and Murari. I was just yelling at her to keep it together and let his shisty ass walk away. Which fairy tale is this story based off of? I can't figure it out unless you haven't revealed that aspect to us yet. I will be looking to see what happens next with the next update.

Erin is an achiever. She has excelled at everything she's put her mind to. This is the first time she has faced real rejection-- no excuse (I know) but she is distraught and bad things are going to happen. Wow!!! I feel so bad for Erin and I really just want to give her a huge hug right now and punch Murari in the face. He is such an a-hole, why pursue someone if you have no intention of being with them in the future? I hope that next time they meet she absolutely crushes him because he deserves that and more.
