Loved the update and was glad to see Alicia and Nick's dad bonding. WTH???!!! Why does Alicia need to be responsible for Kandice???? What happened to Kandice's mom or those so called friend of hers. I think Alicia needs to leave her right where she is, maybe she'll straighten up and fly right after this experience. Alicia needs to stand up to them and stop letting them use her.

Uh-oh...why does Kandice always show up like a bad rash...in jail...I wonder whatever for...and why is Alicia's mom calling her to bail her out...I think it's time for Alicia to stand up for herself and not keep letting her family take advantage of her...this is ridiculous...isn't Kandice supposed to be a grown woman...why doesn't she call one of her many men friends to help her out...

Nick's mother is a fruit cake and a racist fruitcake too. I am so glad his father got her straight. She was out of control. Nick was all man standing up for his girl..I aam proud of him. Alicia handled it well also, no telling what I might have said if it had been me ..lol.

Thanks for a great update. I am glad that Nick defended his girlfriend. He will be doing that alot. I hope that Alicia continues to get stronger and stand up for hersself. Wow, I thought the mother's initial reaction to Alicia was really strong, but after the father's conversation I understand it better. Even though she is wrong about her husband having an affair with nurse Karen, she was not wrong about him wanting an affair with her. I guess she feels like first her husband now hew son want black women. It probably makes her, as a traditional Chinese woman, feel inadequate when the men in her life are attracted to a totally different race. It's not true, but I could see how that could be the perception of things for any woman of any race in her situation. That still does not make the way she treated Alicia right and I hope she can get past that for her son's sake.
Also, where has that sneaky Kandice gone? What did she do at Alicia's apartment that she had to just leave with no argument? I love how Nana knows Kandice. Good chapter.
