Lovely chapter. Gave me butterfiles, how Nyota just continues to surprise and impress Spock. So quietly dramatic.

I've been reading this from the beginning but haven't commented until now, sorry about that. This has the right balance of Austen and Star Trek. Spock and Uhura are very much in character without the ghosts of Darcy and Elizabeth taking over.

I like the slow build of the relationship. I like them singing together and possibly performing at the academy together. I wonder why Spock doesn't want to discuss his father with everyone. I suppose their relationship hasn't been ideal since Spock joined Star Fleet. 

I can't wait to see where this story goes. I want to see what parts Jim, McCoy and others play.

Thank you,Thank you , Thank you so much for this lovely update . I've been waiting for ever. But it was well worth the wait. I'm counting down the days until Nov.17, the DVD release. PLEASE update again sooooon.

Author's Response: Thanks! Real life threw me a curve ball, so I was delayed. Chapter 6 will be much faster, I promise. I too cannot wait until Nov 17th! I hope the DVD has lots of nice extras and deleted scenes featuring Uhura/Spock and Amanda/Sarek goodness.
