Yaay an update! I'm glad to see that Nikolai wants to protect her from some of the realities of his life, but I wish he'd look a little closer at what he's doing to her life. I want to root for theem, but I can't as long as it feels like he's using her. Excellent writing to leave me so conflicted.

I loved how Nikolai couldn't breathe when she was unhappy with him. I also like that how he said that it would never happen in you're house again. I love that he hates to see her upset. I can't imagine what would happen if she came home upset about something someone did. He'd probably have that person tortured and then killed.

I hope her dad is on the road to recovery, because he has two children that need him.

Back, holding my breath for an update. Though I have to say that Sonny wishes he was this good at being a mobster. And Brenda wishes she'd been this smart when she started getting involved with a mobster. Sunshine and Nikolai are miles better than those two.

Ok I totally agree with Anom they are the new Sonny and Brenda but I love this story I stumbled upon this story and I absolutely love it. Keep up great work

WOW!  I love this story.  i just discovered it yesterday and I'm so sad to be at the last chapter.  I love how in so little words, you bring to life these characters, what they stand for, and their attraction to each other without making it seem forced.  The story is at times sweet, yet dark.  I hope it doesn't get too dark.  I'm starting to like Nikolai.  Is he going to get jealous of Sergei?  I hope not, but if he sees that picture he might.  It's so funny how Sunshine is the youngest, but she is so mature for her age.  I love that about her.  I respect her more for that because  I feel like she can handle the situation she is in.  I don't trust "The Big One" though.  He might turn out to be a good guy, but something about him tells me that Sergei should not trust him.  Please update soon. This story is rocking.

I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this story. I look forward to reading each chapter one after the next. The chemistry between Sunshine and Nikolai is so amazing. Although he is  supposed to be a mobster, I still love them together. Can't help but wonder though whether Sergei is falling for Sunshine. He seems so sweet, but I don't want him to get between them. Aww, is all the only thing I can say to that ending, because it was so sweet. It's now very clear that Niki has fallen for his Sunshine, and unless she's a great actress, she's falling for him. She may not be love with him now, but she sure is in lust with him. LOL

This story is going to progress nicely, and I can tell that when the drama really hits, it will be a time to duck and cover.

I was surprised N gave in to S but then he's reward is his desired outcome, however N may be falling, but I think it will hinge on how S continues to pressure him into being closer to her through her requiring he have major contact with her on her terms....interesting character N, protective but ruthless and highly possessive, can't tell if S is using him or trying to protect what she can given the situation. JV
