Title: Let the Wind Blow through Your Heart Part 2

I just had to chime in on this one...

I absolutely heart these characters...

Sunny...so innocent...yet the circumstances of life have forced her to grow up far too soon...she's mature, brave, and intelligent...all brought about due to sheer necessity...I know that it would be so easy for her to resent Nikki at some point in time (she probably will IMHO)...but she's also intrigued by him...and oh so attracted to him...can she retain her independence but still allow him into her heart...or will her eyes be opened more to the harsh realities of his brutal existence...

Nicolai...I like that he seems to be growing in the sense that he's practicing something that I don't believe was ever in his vocabulary pre-Sunny...patience...the type of lifestyle he leads doesn't lend itself to him trusting anyone...his very survival depends on it...yet, here's this girl that's taking his heart by storm with her innocence and vulnerability...can he learn to truly trust another...or will he smother her and do the one thing he promised himself he wouldn't do...destroy her 'lightness'...I want to root for him...I really do...but dude has some serious control, anger, and possessiveness issues...I would hate for Sunny to get caught up in his wrath if she someday, somehow 'crossed' him...can a man who cannot trust find love and peace...can't wait to read if it is possible...

Sergei...he's really sweet...but he's playing a dangerous game...hope he doesn't let his growing feelings for Sunny cost him...knowing Nikki...his life...she's forbidden fruit as of now and something tells me the more time she spends with Nik...the more deadly the situation will become for Sergei...leave Nikki's 'woman' alone would be my sage advice to him...not because he doesn't deserve someone like Sunny...but Nik's not to be messed with...

Pops is a lost cause...any 'father' who would allow his barely legal daughter to whore herself out to pay off his debts is subhuman...good Sunny had the foresight to remove Benji from that unstable environment...thank goodness Jasmine's influence rubbed off on her kids...lawd help them if Pops was the only example of a 'parent' that either of them had...

Anatoly is a hardened criminal...something tells me that Nik better watch his back...is that ambition I smell in the air...something's definitely up with him...and Darla will be right by his side getting her 'revenge' on Nik if given half the chance...

Great story...I hope your muse sticks around for a long while...love it...can't wait for more...

I love the way you show how Niki's brutalness being softened by Sunshine. Has to remember to get the sleeping gardener that he did not kill on sight.  He is in love with her and does not know it yet.  Nice chapter and I can't wait for the next one.

Great chapter.  I am enjoying Sunshine/Nik alot.  I like the innocent/mob vive you got going on.  keep it coming.  I love that Nik is trying to take things slow and is trying not to scare Sunshine.  Sometimes it is better to let her make the move and he go from there.

wow love the little tour the looks the smiles they gave each other nice. see she already rubbing of on him now he love ice cream  bet he love it more if did something else with it too lol . i like this couple and love the story girl for your first fan fic your are writting the hell out of it and very good. thanks for the updated.

Loved the update. I'm just loving me some Nikki and Sunny. They seem like they have some great chemistry and appear so tender with each other when they're together. I love that Nikki isn't demanding with her and is allowing her to adjust at her own pace. Hope they can make this work seeing that they're gonna be together for five years.

Good chapter.  I hope to read more with Sunshine and Nik.  I am wondering one thing after reading all the other chapters.  Is Sunshine suppose to be with Nik or Sergei.  From the beginning I was thinking Nik. Let me say that Jason Stantan is a fine man. LOL

Great update!!

I truly enjoy reading this story.

Sunny is a remarkedly brave and mature young woman. She has done well by Benji. I hope he can understand that one day.

Their father is another story. I still do not believe that he has hit bottom yet, even with everything that is happening around him. Now he is alone. Let's see how long he mourns loosing his children versus running out to gamble away the money Sunny left for him. 

Now Sunny's new life begins...

You can tell that he really does have feelings for her. But he's got no concept of what's wrong with what he's done to her. And she's both attracted and frightened. Pobrecita. Nikki is the guy your mother would have warned you about if she'd lived. I wonder how he's going to handle her being at school.  Sooner or later these rules are going to chafe and the fear is going to pass and he'll meet the real Sunshine. Hope he's ready.

I think I could come to like Nikki if he continues to be this patient...and let Sunshine lead. I know for him this much restraint is very diificult but he is trying.

Sunshine does seem to have some affection for him and he treating her like a princess and captive Princess but  a princess non the less. She should be treated well...she is self less and a good person. I hope she can change him and soften his hard heart.

I am glad her daddy took her to get her birth control pills...they only decent thing he has ever done for her!!

But she is strong like her mom and well taught by her mom..it help her make it through this time..which Nikki seems to be looking for more than 5 years.

There is a very dark side to Nikki, I am worried about though..I am not sure even Sunshine can save him from that side.

I love this story..I stayed up late because I knew you would be updting tonight!!!You are rocking it sweetie...keep up the great job!!
