I can't even hate Darla for this. Sunny had the right to know everything about Nikolai's dealings with her father, not just what both told her on the surface.

Awesome update! Sunny is definitely leaving Nikki now. She feels betrayed and i'm sure she thinks everything he has  done was a lie. I do feel for Nikki he will definitely go back to that dark place when Sunny leaves him. I truly feel sorry for the poor soul that he comes across during his time of lost for he will definitely take out all his pain of losing sunny on them.

That was so nice of Nikki to take care of his Lady love.  He is so inlove with her he is showing it for all to see.  Great chapter.

I've noticed for awhile now that there have been many parallels between Nikolai's and Jacob's lives...they both had the fortune of having a remarkable woman come into their lives to guide them out of their darkness...for Jacob it was Jasmine...and for Nikki...it's Sunny...yet Jacob failed his beloved time and time again...she loved him in spite of himself...and I'm hoping Sunshine loves Nikolai the same...it bears repeating...Nikki has to let Sunny go...there is no other way...he has to show the strength of character to release her...it took Jacob to the point of the end of his life to do the 'right' thing and finally do something truly unselfish...let's hope Nikolai doesn't wait that long...I know it will break his heart to let her go...but let her go he must do...allow her to give him her heart with her own free will...let it truly be her choice...love is not a possession...it is meant to be...it will be...

I loved the caring way that Nikolai took care of Sunny's and Ben's needs...now he has to trust in his love for her and allow her to come to him freely of her own choice...this is such an emotional story...acts one and two have left me rooting for a 'happy' ending...maybe my idea of what exactly 'happy' means may not come to fruition...but still I hope...it's also amazing that Sunny gives so much of herself to ensure others' happiness...yet expects so little to come her way...that makes her so endearing...a rootable heroine if there ever was one...

Can't wait to read the third and final act of this beautiful story...great job, Onimosity...looking forward to more...

Very sweet chapter..sad, but sweet because of how Nikolai took care of the sibblings..I loved all of the conversations between he and sibblings! But..it's the calm before Nikki's storm..now what? He's sooooooo loves this girl..and like someone said she is the life force of this family and household..a life force Nikki can't do without now..She's his light in an otherwise dark world..and..I think..he has abandonment issues..that only came to light with Sunny!  Yeah he says he's not angry with his parents and 'friends' that rejected him, but it left him with big time trust issues..I mean, he approached Ben like he was a foreign object! LOL..

So as Sunny likes to say..Carry on Grasshopper! Thanks for the update..can't wait til the next!

Thanks for this lovely reminder of the gentle side of human nature. I think you have once again shown the blessing that Sunny is as a person.

I love Nikolai interaction with Ben and Sunny. I felt like I was standing right there in a corner somewhere just looking on at these two powerful scenes. Ben was so sweet and protective of his sister. His statement to Nik about Sunny loving hard sums up her character in so many ways. And as someone who griefed the death of my estranged father I fully understand Sunny's bitter, heart wrenching tears and her moments of regret. That is a burden you carry with you for a very long while, and every now and again you have these 'what if' moments.

No matter the other aspects of his personality and his path in life, Nikolai's love for this woman is so crystal clear that it is almost tangible at times. But the darkness that cloaks him is not a scar on the face or a physical deformity that the reader can understand and sympathise with, but is a hardcore gangsta lifestyle that could destroy the Sunny we have all come to care about. I think this is what Jacob saw when he watch both of them in the hospital and realised the depth of their feelings for each other and the fact this situation, which was his making, could destroy who she is if she remains with Nikolai (but I still dont think he should have outed himself like that). I would like to think that Nikolai is strong enough to now let her go or walk away from his life but I keep waiting for the shoe to drop. Something is about to happen aint it that could tear them apart? lolol... Dark fic or not I would like to think that in the end love do conquer all...

I love the way Benji is with his sister and I hope this will on draw them closer.

I love the way Nikki takes care of Sunny and I love the talk that he and Benji had.  Benji told him that Sunny loves him but I don't think he took it in.

Wonderful story i love it and I hope that Nikki is able to ask her to stay and marry him soon and she says yes.  I wonder will she ask him to let her leave and when he says yes that is if he says yes will she be miserable and want to come back as she should he it her other half as she is his.
