I'm sorry, CAColeman! Once I revamp BGDIB, I'll be devoting myself to this. I've just about finished the next chapter, but I figured it would be better to finish the pre-qual before working on the sequel. Thanks for reading though! I promise an update is coming.

No sparks mean, that you are not "in love" with her! It means you love her like family. She has already stated you were like her brother and not like a lover! Cut and run before someone gets hurt. Kaleesa, is the one for Jonathan. But Kaleesa needs to watch her back with Rochelle!

What is Rochelle's angle? I guess this is what they mean by the phrase, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer!" I guess Rochelle,is going to use this new friendship with Kalessa, to keep tabs on the "budding" relationship between Jonathan and Kalessa. Rochelle, needs to stop being so serious and have some fun! I like how that guy put her in her place....it would be funny if that turned out to be her love interest!

Didn't like Shell in BGDIB and still don't, was LMAO when that dude told her arse off too. If I wanted to see her in a pairing it'd be with him, she needs someone who'll put her in her place. Jonathan isn't that person at all.
I love your choice for John, I wanted him to get a story and was excited when I discovered this. Kaleesha seems lovely and they have amazing chemistry, looking forward to more of their story. I don't know how I actually feel about the character's new (different) pics, but I ignored them altogether besides K's pic. Once I have an image in my head of a character, they're forever that person.

I am so glad that at least John and Rochelle got to have some time to talk. But I am glad that at least John is figuring out that they really needed to talk and was about to put himself out there. But it was really telling that it was Karissa that brought a smile to him during the week just out of the blue. Maybe she will bring him really back to life. And it looks like she needs someone for her as well. I know that she moved back for family but she needs a life as well. GREAT Chapter.

oooo i'm fuming! Rochelle doesn't want Jonathan! She's so transparent it's pathetic. Rochelle's clawdar is up because Jonathan has eyes for someone else; someone that's a threat and she KNOWS IT!
Rochelle can try to justify her new mission all she wants but the fact of the matter is that she KNEW Jonathan loved her and she had a hold over him but now...in walks this woman, a virtual nobody that Jonathan connected with and for a few wonderful moments, he was breathing for himself, not her, and he didn't even realize what transpired. Oh but Mizzz Rochelle noticed, didn't she?
The eyes don't lie...chica!! Let that man go and give him what you couldn't: a love he deserves.

After reading this chapter I am sorry but rochelle is playing games. I don't think she even feeling John like that I think she is doing it because she must alway be best at doing everything and I think that is her motive here. I dont think she want John just the fact that Kalessa shows an interest she all of a sudden here she come. That just selfish. Sorry for rambling.

Hmmm, Rochelle and John are in a weird place. Hope John doesn't mess with Kaleesa's feelings as he's still trying to get it on with Rochelle. He needs to decide who he wants and WHAT he wants. Rochelle definitely doesn't seem to be feeling him as a lover. If she sees him as a brother, she sees him as a brother and he just has to accept that and move on hopefully with Kaleesa.:)

So I am going to need you to update this one a lot more often, because where you left it has me wanting to stalk you until you update again. LOL
John and Rochelle are just not meant to be, I think it was more so of the idea then it was the actual hooking up. I mean I feel like John never had anyone else and because Rochelle was already their he fell for her. But him and Kaleesa are a different story they are something that neither one expected and they make for a very interesting couple. I mean the man is burning toast for god sake. LOL
