Things are getting really interesting, lol. Loved Adam running interference. Loved the LnB. Hated that it took his father, and Billy coming to town for Nick to take Lily on that trip she's been wanting. Loved the corporate stuff, and I'm looking forward to Newman not getting that company. You are good at bringing the drama. Congrats on a barely annoying Cane and an intriguing Adam. I always liked Adam#1 but I suspect this is Adam#2. And when are you updating please? I think now is good.

This is Chris Egan, and not Michael Munney *sp*. I've never really cared for either, but I prefer CE. I've only watched maybe one or two of MM scenes, but I don't really care for his version of Adam.

LOVED Billy blackmailing the teacher to make sure Lily was on the team. Also loved the scene with Billy and Cane, and the backstory that you've given to Cane and Mac. Those two seem to have the perfect little family, saving the world and the environment, LOL. Also, can't wait to see what Adam is up to.

You already know that I love the bee on the Lily on the bracelet. Too cute.
Also, I like how you threw in Nick loving the smell of Lily's hair just as BA did (I'm going to take a leap and say still does, lol).
I almost don't like Billy for wanting to break up a loving marriage, but at the same time I want to see him win back his girl. Great writing.

I must say I was never a Billy/Lily fan. I am a diehard Cane/Lily fan, that said I am however enjoying your story. What I enjoyed most about this chapter is that you show Nick and Lily actually love each other, that is the component that a successful triangle must have. Both candidates for the heart of desired must truly love her/him. In the Y&R version, I was never sure of how much Billy actually cared for Lily, that's why I think a Billy/Lily/Cane triangle would have been difficult to achieve. You are however addressing this oversight magnificently and so I anxiously await reading how your story will further unfold.

I thought that Billy started to fall for Lily, because other wise, he wouldn't have confessed. The office and cabin scenes show that clearly. I really liked the J-Quad storyline, imo, it's the best quad Maria has written, each character was different, they had chemistry, and they brought good ratings.

So I am dying to know why he left and the real reason that he's back NOW. And to see more of Nick (a character that bored me to tears on the show) and Lily's interactions.

I've given a few of hints as to why he left, and chapter three gave some as to why he returned. I'm glad you liked the dialogue. I say it over and over again, but if I don't get anything else right. I hope that I have good dialogue... although sometimes that's the only thing I get right. LOL

I love this!! I stopped watching Y&R shortly after Chloe/Kate dismantled Lily's life. I always liked Cane and Lily but thought it was Lily and Billy that brought the heat.

Yes, Billy thought, his eyes drifting close, as sleep finally came to claim him. Things were indeed going to get a hell of a lot worse. And god help Genoa City, because he was going to tear it apart, brick by brick, if he had to, because came hell or high water, husband or no, he was going after Lily with the ruthlessness of the titan he was, and taking down anyone who got in his way.
