Ok really good so far. I was wondering about the male leads until I got to this chapter. Now it I get it.
The appearence of the mother certainly was a surprise, can't wait to see how that's going to work out.
Guessing that Scott had/has a thing for Charise, and that's why his marriage to mona didn't work out. Also speculating that the new doctor is Rick, just a guess. Can't figure out who's going to be involved with whom. Pretty sure that Scott has a thing for Charise, but he was married to her girlfriend. Charise mentioned that she had a crush on Rick back in high school, so I am expecting something there. Anyway just guessing can't wait to read which way things go.

Well things might get awkward if Char and Scott hook-up...! I think Mona has always sensed Scott has held a special spot for Char and thought perhaps with time he would get over but he never did...
