Wow...Tim really cares for Rachel doesn't he? So does Raylan. But Rachel's heart really belongs to only one crazy-ass Marshal. Winona! Ugh, so overrated. Love Art snarky persona.
I find myself shouting 'RAYLAN! C'mon man!' just as if i'm watching the show, though i love your interpretation of these characters much better. I so wish he'd get it together...preferably with Brooks.

Hmm, I wonder why the person just shot and left (I'm assuming) since they didn't go after his ex-wife.
I am really loving this story though, and I like the way you dropped itns about Tim's life. The only thing is that since we're seeing that from Raylan's POV, how would he know that about his father beating him?

I'll elaborate more on the shooter and what happened in the next update. Promise. As far as Tim's life...there was an episode this season where they were all sitting around and he let it drop about his background and his father's abuse. So I used that little info and elaborated. Sorry if that was unclear. Glad you liked the opening line :)

I will not reveal which team I'm on...I'll just say it's hard...you're right...at the end of the day I think this version of Tim may need her a little more and he may be better equipped to love her.
