this was so emotional. I wonder if they canmove past this, will she be able to forgive. Granted he was drugged, but in the end it is still rape. Why did her sister take there in the first place?

No need to apologize, Kelly...at least for this reader...I think if it was overly offensive to me...I would have stopped reading and kept my comments to myself...
Now...this is a very tough story to absorb...I want to have empathy for Caleb...I really do...but...when I think about the hell he must have put Maya through...because of his poor choices...following Reed around and letting him goad him into behavior he intrinsically knew was wrong...drinking anything that Reed gave him...and being such a coward and not turning himself in after the fact when his head was once again on straight...I just can't...I don't know if I'll ever be able to root for this character...but this is such an interesting story...I cannot turn away...I want to see where you take this and how Maya and Caleb can come back from this ugly place they now find themselves in...
What I can say is...I know Maya is a strong and special person...not only to survive the violation of her body...but to CHOOSE to not hold it against HER child...and bring him into the world in spite of how he was conceived...this takes extreme courage to do...I do want her to find her sunshine again...not sure if I want that to be with Caleb...because I just can't get passed what he did to her...but who knows...maybe I'll change my mind about him as the story progresses...no, I don't think he's a totally evil person...but he committed one of the most heinous, vile acts a man can commit on a woman...maybe Dylan will be his redemption...but I don't see Maya wanting him anywhere near her baby and I can't say I blame her...
I loved both Ernest and Nina's reactions...Ernest to revelation that his son had violated a woman and impregnated...and Nina's protection of her friend...this should prove to be an interesting read if nothing else...so please continue...I'd like to see where you take this story...

This story is life, having experienced something alike in my youth, I am not offended. I only hope one takes care and thinks before they act. Both parties. Great chapter and I will continue to read and see how the forgiveness came about. Forgiveness is a wonderful gift created by God.

So it is a true story, I'm very happy that you want to share it with us. I would really like to know how she could go from hating and being afraid of him to forgive and love him.And I'm really glad that both him and his father desided to turn him in. This must be a really good story and I really look forward to reading the whole story.

OMG that was DEEP, I had no idea that Caleb had assulted Maya, WOW, and his brother Reed is a PUNK for slipping drugs in his drink, he and is JACKASS friend Tony need to go down as well... I wonder where that PUNK Reed is anyways.
I do hope that Dylan pulls though this.... and I wonder how Maya and Caleb get past all of this and find happiness.
Can't wait for more.
