Title: A bitter cup of sweet tea...

Supernatural for sure! Bastard was evil thru and thru.   I'm glad the Hellhounds is using his ass an eternal chew toy!  But who was old dude that came from the shadows to help her?

He had it comin'! He had it comin'! He only had himself to blame!
That was the song that I was singing when he got his just desserts. Mwhahaha!
But as for my thoughts, I felt like she just snapped. She finally had enough of him and she needed to be free. But then the man in the fedora stepped in and I got a bad feeling about him...almost like he was the guy from Tales from the Hood. I think that this was a supernatural happening that was triggered off by her instability. Really enjoyed reading :)

Author's Response:

So glad you enjoyed! I loved Tales from the Hood, makes me want to go on Netflix and watch it. LOL. Thanks for reading!

What is the man in the fedora? Where did he come from? I can't imagine Tam not noticing a man in his house. His death could be called an accident if the sweetner she used is a natural occuring one and it could be said that he had an allergic reaction previously unknown.

I say it's supernatural cause that dude sounds like a demon or angel of death.

Author's Response:

The Fedora Man is an old City urban legend and in some more stories, you will hearing his name brought up more often. Glad that you liked it! Thanks for reading.

I don't think his death was supernatural. She poisoned him. There are so many poisions in the world. Plus deather by sweetner....something like saachrine poisioing. Either way i'm far more interested in the guy in a black and the fedora. who is he an angel of death? or demon?

Author's Response:

So glad that you took the time to read and reveiw my lil' one shot. The man in the fedora, you will be seeing mre of him in the upcoming stories I have in store for the City series. Thanks for reading!

Benadette is sure Beautiful!  I'm sure Bena poisoned her brute of a husband and I'm glad she killed him, if that was the only way she could escape.  Actually before she gave Tam the poisoned tea I had wondered why she had not sought to poison him since he prevented her from getting away from him, while he continued to give her brutal pain.

Tam was truly also a stupid brute; a person should never be viciously mean toward one they liive with because the victim can always use some subtle means like poison to gain their freedom or just retribution!

Excellent story Elizablu and my joy was in Tam's slow death!

I also wonder who the pale face man with the fedora hat was. I think he was her hallucination, a means by which she provided herself with the friend she so desperately needed!

Author's Response:

So Glad that you enjoyed. You will be seeing these characters again. Thanks for reading!

Would it be evil to say I'm just Tam met his demise? I'm sorry but he was scary and revolting. If his fate was not supernatural and all in Benadette's head. That! That would be eerie.

Really interested!

Author's Response:

So glad that you enjoyed it and no it wouldn't be evil to be happy that Tam met his demise. Thanks for reading!

I loved it and it was supernatural b/c her mother came back to help her in freeing herself and her unborn child.  Now her mother can rest and Tam can rot in Hell where apparently he should be and should have  been a long time  but this trial will help Benadette be stronger for her baby

I wonder who the mystery pale man was?  I want more even though you said that this was not the last of them I want more more more. Please.

Happy writing and Happy Holidays!

Author's Response:

So glad that you enjoyed it. Don't worry you will see them again. Thanks for reading!

Wow what a bastard Tam turned out to be.  what did he mean when he said that he had did the same thing to her mother?  This seems like a supernatural story.  Who was the guy that came to her rescue or I should say escort her from the premises?  Thanks

Author's Response:

There was a whole lot of supernatural going on.  The man with the fedora appears to be an angel because he appears right after Tam dies and he knows Bernadette's mother is dead. Tam got what he had coming to him. Now that she know her mother is dead, she knows her mother will be always be watching over her.

Author's Response:

There was a lot of other stuff going...Thanks for reading!

I liked it.  I think it was supernatural or divine intervention (whichever you prefer) in that Bernadette's mother probably couldn't say goodbye without helping her daughter leave that abusive relationship.  It seemed like the only way Bernadette was going to leave Tam permanently ws in a casket; her mother just gave her a weapon to ensure that it was him in the casket instead.

Author's Response:

I believe it was a little of both and other things. So glad that you liked it! Thanks for reading!
