OMG  this story is just fabulous.  I love it. I just read all five chapters. Spencer is just so heartbreaking from the very beginning. The memories, the avoidance and the way he is trying to just figure out how not to deal and maybe to breathe.

Reese with her talented and take no prisoners attitude is just what he needs. I really like the way her character is developing. 

Lita and Frank and Genie are the best kind of support characters.  Frank the coolest friend and Lita the sister that doesn't let Reese take herself too seriously.  Genie the mother figure.  

This is really a good story and you write it/tell it well. I am hungry for the next chapter.

Rogue dearest, you have done it again. This update was on the sadder side but I dug it. Spencer is hurting....BAD. I can't imagine what its like to lose someone so suddenly.

I just started reading this story based on the recommendation.  It's really good so far and am looking forward to coming updates!

Spencer is  making me so sick right now, he really needs an ASS KICKING fast, I know he is grieving his sister, and having to deal with the kids is a lot, but DAMN his attitude sucks big time, he seems to think that if he either has sex with the office tramp, or has Genie deal with everything than he won't have to face the fact that Tracy is really gone.

I'm liking Reese already, she doesn't hold her tounge at all, and I think that she is exactly what Spencer needs... btw bring the office slut back to your place while two small children are there is just sick.

I finally got around to catching up with all the chapters you posted...your characters have a certain amount of "realness" about them...I appreciate that...they are flawed and imperfect...yet they are sympathetic at the same time...Spencer is hillarious at times and his remembrances of his sister, Tracy, are so heart-breaking at others...Genie has got to be a saint...no other word aptly describes her considering the unreasonable demands Spencer has placed on her since the tragedy happened...he has so much "growing up" to do...it's not even funny...and he really needs to face up and dealing with his sister's death and the responsibility thrust upon him...he's simply "maintaining"...and not talking about it certainly isn't helping him IMHO...

I like Reese a lot...though she has been out of line on more than a few occasions when dealing with Spencer (I would never talk to an employer the way she has even if I thought he "had it coming"...that very unprofessional to say the least)...the living arrangements...there should be some sort of compromise there...Spencer is being unreasonable thinking it's okay to expect his live-in nanny to sleep in what amounts to be a coat closet with little or no privacy...and she shouldn't have taken it upon herself to move his office stuff before getting his agreement beforehand...

Selia is a true skank in every sense of the word (Spencer, Spencer...you got to do better in your choice of "women", dude...but I suppose that when chasing tail...the standards are not very high)...I found it unbelievably crass for them to go ahead and knock boots knowing full well his nanny is awake on the floor directly below awake...and being loud with it didn't endear either of them to me...that was low and classless...I can't wait to read what Reese has in store for Spencer's insensitive, thinking-with-the-wrong-head arse...

I am so glad to see that you updated this story! It is turning out to be quite interesting with the dynamic between Reese and Spencer. But I am with Reese, he would be in for a rude awakening after keeping me up all night having sex while kids are in the house.

I can not believe he went through and had sex with that woman in his home.  Unbelievable....LOL.  I like Reese and loving the kids.
