Aww, what a perfect ending. I know I missed some BMW stories, but I didn't even know that Shawn had a drinking problem. I'm so glad that Shawn seek Cory out for helped, yet Shawn knew that he had to get over his problem by himself in the end. Cory and Topanga got back together. I so enjoyed them in this story. St. Moore is okay with me. He knew he maded a mistake about Shawn and that loser Ted.  I'm so glad that he set-up for him to go on the prom together. In all this was a great story Reese and thanks for writing it. d

Glad you liked the ending.  I wanted to do something that I hope came off as a little unpredictable.  If you liked it, then I succeeded. 

Yes, Shawn has a problem with drink.  It's inherited from his father.  If I continue to write for them, which I probably will, 'cause I love this couple, you'll see reference to this frailty of his. 

Cory and Topanga.  I always thought that Topanga really thought that she was better than Cory.  Nothing overt, but there is one episode when she was breaking up with him where she alluded to how many guys wanted her like Cory had no one wanting him.  I understood what she was saying but I wanted to use my take on that in this story.  It, to me, made them more interesting.  As I've mentioned, if I do a sequal, and I probably will, this too will be a reoccuring theme with Cory and Topanga.

Sgt. Moore finally woke up.  It took him being hit over the head with indisputable evidence, but I give him credit for not being a complete bonehead and ignoring that too for the sake of pride.  lol

Shawn and Angela are just adorable together and Shawn is taking the right steps to get his girl.  I hope Angela'a father realizes the mistake he made and apologizes. 

Yay, the update is here. Reese, you had me scared at what Shawn was going to do after what Angela said about Ted. I know Angela was mad at Shawn, but that was hitting below the belt. Good thing that Shawn has so much in love with Angela that he couldn't even cheat on her even if he wanted too. I love Angela and Topanga talked. Topanga made Angela see how wrong she was about Shawn and her relationship and Angela made Topanga see how she was hurtin Cory too much now. Shawn and Angele making-up at the end was so sweet. They needed this blow-up to show them how much they are in loved with each other. I can't wait to see what will happen next. Great job

I was scared too about what Shawn was going to do.  You can plot a story out but these characters don't always do what's planned for them.  I'm just relieved that he was able to stop where he did. 

Poor Angela.  She's clearly not thinking right now but acting on hormones and emotion.  Except the emotion is one of anger and revenge directed toward her father and love of Shawn that's making her want to take that next step.  Shawn called her on it and was right to do so. 

Love the friendship between Angela and Topanga.  Even in the show, I liked how Topanga finally had a friend in Angela like Cory had in Shawn and vice versa. 

Love when Shangela make up.  I had lots of fun writing that.

Didn't Ted turn out to be quite the stinker.  Even I didn't know he was going to be so unpleasant when I began this story.  He just evolved and not in a good way.  Cerise deserves Ted and vice versa.

Shawn has matured quite a bit during this ordeal, or perhaps this kind of forethought was in him already since he originally put the brakes on their going farther sexually.  I think he pegged Angela right, and she will see how hard that was for him to "reject" her.

Unfortunately for Shawn, he's joining Cory in his misery.  I feel so bad for Angela and for him.  Every time Shawn takes a step forward, life manages to slap him down.  And this time, not only is he affected, but Angela is as well.

I loved Shawn and Cory's friendship on the show.  They were fairly even-handed with dispensing good advice to each other.  

Oh dear, I don't even want to think of my high school years.  I was so shy and introverted. Thank goodness some things do change in the course of time.  lol

One of the reasons I wrote "I Do Love You" and this one is because I felt just as you do.  To me, Angela and Shawn had the more complicated and interesting relationship,  I liked Cory and Topanga, but both Shawn and Angela had issues to work through.  It would have been much more compelling having see how those "issues" impacted their relationship on a deeper level.
