Good Gawd, that was so freaking hot and sexy Reese. It's about time they finally lay everything on the line and give into their love and need for each other. I love the you wrote most of this chapter in Todd's thoughts about everything. I love that he was so concern for Evangeline going to Washington DC. He didin't want to see her get hurt due to his taking her away from the US. Then that concern for Evangeline turn to jealousy when he found out that the person who she had help Todd get out his sticky situation was a friend of Evangeline and male. Poor Meeks you didn't have a chance to be Todd's friend at all. Now Todd's jealosy for Evangeline turns to anger when she and him have it out about their true feelings for each other and how the both of them use Chris and Blair to block what they really felt for each other. I have to give you so much props for writing Todd to tell Evangeline the truth about her so call relaptionship with Chris. I never believe in that pairing and I never will. Oh then the anger between each became a desperate need, love and pure and lust for each other finally. You could just feel the heat with the both of them wanting each other right then and there. Gawd, Todd sexual warefare toward Evangeline was too hot for words and Evangeline returning the favor in their love making was just icing on the cake. You really didn't disappoint in them finally making love for the firs time. It was firece just how I like it. Oh I love this chapter so and great job Reese. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next chapter.

Now that was good. Too good in fact. I so happy that Evangeline and Layla got the chance to catch-up with all the things that been happening. Okay I laugh-out-loud with all the animation movements from Todd and Layla when they were trying not let Evangeline know everything that has happen since she woke-up since she still have memory lost. I also enjoy Layla and Todd talk. It was something that was needed to be done. LOL, I knew Evangeline already expected that Todd has tooken her illegality. Evangeline is one smart 'Cookie' and that is one of the things I was always loved about her and I know she is going to do everything in her power to protect Todd from the 'crimes that he commited. Now on to the best part of this chapter. Todd and Evangeline are as you call them Sinfullly Delightful'. Gawd, they had me going from the time that Layla got a taste on the heat between them, to the Evangeline seeing Todd naked. That part was so naughty and great. If I was Evangeline I would had did the same thing, but I got to give Todd props for still keeping with his planned to not take advantage of a memory loss Evangeline. How many men you know who would do that? Not many that that's why I so love this Todd very much. He's too adorable for his own good. Oh I forgot to say that I see that Layla was bother that Adam has left her. I wonder why? ;) Great updated Reese and I so can not wait to read the next chapter.

Chapter ten will spell the beginning of a new chapter (pun intended lol) in Todd and Van's journey. "So fasten your seat belts; it's going to a be bumpy ride." Note: (That's a misquote; in the movie All About Eve, Margo Channing actually says, "...bumpy night." But I'm taking a little artistic license here. lol)

I started to read this on the ROD Tangie site and I must say it was damn good. I am just waiting fro you to write a lil bit more and I am sorry I hate Layla, she is a sellout that loved Christian's greasy but. just ughh. She should not get Adam, make her get back with that idiot Vincent.

Lol! MoniQ. Well, I have lots of chapters coming up. I'm basically trying to edit out the remaining booboo ie mistakes and errors. lol Also, the chapter are so long that it takes me forever to edit them. I may have to split them up but just update more frequently to off set that. If it weren't for that, I'd post everything I have at once. Still, the story will be finished by the time I've posted everything here. I only have three or four chapters to write. But again, they will be long ones as you know.
Now, MoniQ, I know you dislike Layla, but anytimie Bsb can like her in the story and love her with Adam, I'm thinking you can give her a chance too because Vincent is not an option. lol I created Adam for her.

I don't know if I need to laugh or sigh because of the frustration of the current situation. But I got to say that I loved this chapter. So we finally meet Adam. I love how you described him and I already see the sparks between him and Layla. I should have know that Todd was going to 'kipnapped' Layla so she could see Evangeline. Now speaking about the dynamic duo, wow, those two are too hot for words. *Fans herself* I so enjoyed the making-out scene and I just hated that we didn't get the whole nine yards. Yet I have a feeling that it we won't have to wait too long for that. :LOL: Can I just say that a adored Betty? She did tried to warned Bobby about Todd 'Freaking' Manning, but he didn't listen. He was about to get a beat down, if it wasn't for Evangeline keep Todd to focus on her with a kiss. I got to say that scene was so funny and how you wrote Todd was excellent. I just love Jealous Todd. Oh I can't wait to see how things go from here after they got um.... caught in the act. Great update again Reese. :)

As it was time to introduce the mysterious Asian man. Ooohh! *Chills* lol Boy, Layla is fierce. I'd have been prostrate with fear. Not so for our young heroine. Good for her.
Betty is so cute, isn't she? Just what Van needs in the interim. And yes, she was a good friend to Boddy by trying to make up for the mistake of getting him hired for the job by saving his life. The ungratefulf and cocky Bobby almost got his you know what kicked good and proper.
Todd "The Man" Manning. I wonder when people will stop underestimating him? Never I guess and that's what we love to see. Todd getting back at all of his neysayers.
Poor Tangie has just as much trouble getting together in an isolated chalet as they do in Llanview that's filled with well meaning buttinskis. Go figure.
All I can say is their time will come.

Oh boy, that was too good. First of all, I just love how you write Todd and Evangeline expression in this chapter. You can really picture how they they were reacted to many things like desire, hurt, anger, and happiness. Aww, Eva is mad at Todd because he didn't want to hurt her. She saw that as a rejection, but it was so far from that. You can cut Todd and Evangeline longing for each other with a knife and that's why I know they will work out this little falling out very soon. Finally Layla is owning-up to the wrongs she did that had Todd 'kipnapped' Evangeline in the first place. She really didn't have to treat Todd like she did, so I hope she is really means that she was sorry on the way she acted and I have a feeling that she will see her sister very soon. Another great chapter Reese. :)

Oh, Layla is one guilt-ridden young lady right about now. She realizes that she allowed her prejudice against Todd to outweigh her duty to not only her sister's wishes--which would be to allow Todd to visit and yes, try to save her life--but her duty as one of her custodians.
She's young and learning, so we'll see just far this transformation takes her. Perhaps the Asian may be instrumental in cementing it. Let's cross our fingers.

I adore a jealous Van. As you know, having had to put up with that other drivel on the show, we never got to see this side of Van except for that very little bit when he went to Chicago with Blair. Even then, it was implied but that non-telling left a lot to be desired.
I'm with you. Van is a different proposition than Todd when it comes to her feelings. Todd has been hurt as she has, but he's ready to lay cards on the table whereas Van likes to play hers closer to her chest. We'll have to see when and if that changes.
Lol! I'm sorry. I get that alot about the dream sequence. But...Van is still recovering, and Todd just wouldn't take advantage of her. At least not without struggling with it first. So I had no choice. lol

Now is it me, or Todd and Evangeline are so adorable and hot when they are having their 'lover spats' in this story. They don't even realize that they both want each other, but are afraid that the other one does not fell the same way. I just love the slow burn you are writing between Todd and Evangeline. Though you are killing my girl with all this fore play and near misses. The scene in Evangeline's room was so tender, sweet, and all around heat. You could just feel the electricity that Todd and Evangeline created in Evangeline's room after their disagreement and when Todd put Evangeline to bed and gave Evangeline that sizzling kiss. Oh I can not wait to see what is up in the next chapter. :D

Lol! I love Todd and Van when they argue. Todd is so used to getting his way, only Van can influence to change his mind. Writing this particular disagreement is fun because of the subject matter: both are suffering unnecessarily from unrequited love.

I am so glad Van is awake. Todd's dedication and love brought her back. I can so see Todd being this dedicated and determined to see her well.
I know that Todd is motivated by his guilt for not taking Van with him. But I think he knows more than anyone that is motivation is more about love than anything.

Yes, indeedy Harlan, guilt is a motivating factor with Todd, but as you've noted, not "the" most predominate one. Love is what's driving him and making him rein in his selfish nature at the same time. This was our hot Toddy growing and maturing.

It just had to be a dream huh?! But a very hot sexy dream that Evangeline was having about Mr. Manning. I love this chapter so much because we beginning to see Evangeline's attractness to Todd. We wasn't given that chance on the show, but I love seeing it now. Boy wasn't she jealous of the hussy Elisa. Tod bad that Evangeline doesn't know that the only woman that Todd had his mind on is her. I love this trying to be best friends to each other, but in reality, they want to jump each other bones. Oh, I love Besty in this story too. She is so sweet and becoming a great friend to Evangeline. Great chapter Reese.

I did want to give us a bird's eye view of Van falling or acknowledging the feelings she'd been developing for him just before Todd left for Chicago. She still remembers him and so still feels those feelings. In that sense, she and Todd are on the same page. They love each other but just can't or won't act on those feelings for various reasons.
Betty is a great stand-in for Layla who we'll be seeing in the not too distant future.

I like that Todd hasn't lied to Van about Cris, just hasn't told her everything..he is learning that the lies don't work (well except for the whole kidnapping thing)
You made Nat tolerable for me here..don't know what Tess's problem is though.

Van is about the only person that Todd realizes he can't and really doesn't want to lie to. I think he learned his lesson with the whole boxing bet "omission" that surely came back to take a chunk out of his butt. So yeah, the exception is kidnapping her and since he doesn't want to upset her concerning what might happen to him legally, he is omitting this.
I'm basing Tess/Jess's attitude on her response to Todd in his office at the Sun when she guessed how he felt about Van but quickly shot his feelings down, insisting that he was still in love with Blair and Van in love with Cris.
I think her guilt over betrayal of Antonio compromised her loyalty to Todd in this situation and that's what I based her attitude on. That's one of the reasons that Viki had to be set straight because she was another one who seemed resistant to Todd and Van being more than just friends.
As for Nat. After the Jolie/Jovan horror, she was never made to express any feeling on Todd or Van. So to me, she is an clean slate, so to speak, on whom I can write anything. I could go either way with her. And I actually believe that she just might take that attitude of ambivalence toward Todd and Van being together because it doesn't directly involve her. She's indifferent to Blair, unlike Viki, and she's indifferent to the Vegas, unlike Tess/Jess because her break up with Cristian was guilt free. No one was at fault. Not so with Tess/Jess.

Another great chapter Reese. So Evangeline does not remember the boy. Excellent. As you can see, that Evangeline's relationship to the clown was so bad that Evangeline memory block it out. *grins evily* Aww, don't you just love Todd in this chapter. You can so tell that he just wants the best for Evangeline and fighting his desire to be with Evangeline before she gets well. I'm glad the Vicki gave Jessica some clue to Todd's heart. One thing that bug me about Todd's family was that they would always push Todd to the faithless trick, yet they never tried to seek out what was really best for Todd. Thank-god he did that on his own. Okay I'm worried about Todd getting in trouble about taking Evangeline away, but I have faith that things will work out fine in the end. Yeah, I thought it would be realistic if she had some memory loss, not total. She's been out a long time, and it was due to chemical poisoning. So I think having partial amnesia was plausible and not to trite.
Todd is really trying to be a good boy. This is what we saw in his evoluation after the execution and duriing his friendship and growing romantic relationship with Van. So it's just the logical continuation of that maturation process. To put it simply, someone else is more important than he is or even what he wants.
Yeah, Viki and Jess/Tess are being written thus far being true to how they were on the show in those days. However, Viki, I think, has less stake in the Todd and Blair relationship then Jess does concerning Van and the Vegas as I mention in a response to Pashmina.
Yes, Todd's in a world of trouble, but he took a risk. We'll see how it pays off for him thus far.

Yay!! Evangeline is awaked! I loved how you brought Evangeline back to the conscience world. She thought that Todd was in trouble. That is so Evangeline like. You really captured all of Todd emotionals in this chapter. From being doubtful, to getting back hopeful again, to unbelieveable happiness and gratefulness that Evangeline woke up. This was my favorite parts of chapter 3,
For the next several minutes, Todd talked her, caressing her cheek as he spoke. He felt her hand moving on his side.
“Todd—“
“No, don’t talk. Just try to—”
“I can...see,” she said indistinctly. Her voice was weak but stronger than before. “But...too close.”
Instinctively understanding what she was trying to say, Todd moved his head away and quickly opened his eyes. He stared with unabashed awe at the sight of the most beautiful brown eyes staring back at him. Uncontrollable tears of joy sprang into them. He released an audibly shaky breath and pulled her to him. He buried his head in the curve of her neck.
“Evangeline. Thank God.”
“Never thought...I’d...hear you...thanking...God,” she quipped hesitantly. She felt hot tears on her neck and his body shaking against hers. She raised her hand to his head, softly stroking his hair. “Don’t...cry, Todd.”
That was just so beautiful and sweet. Great updated Reese. :)

This is sooo good. Todd is going to be in so much trouble! But he is so desperate to right his past wrongs that he doesn't even care. You have been able to capture Todd very accurately. I had to laugh when he barged into the dr.'s office. I can't wait to see where this goes. This is my favorite line.
In later years when Dr. Linder recounted the story of Todd Manning and Evangeline Williamson, he could never quite convey why he’d answered in the manner in which he had. All he knew was that it had something to do with what he’d seen in the younger man’s eyes: something that spoke to him as a man. Here was a man who had experienced untold loss and pain. His eyes reflected an unguarded quiet desperation, quickly masked but present nonetheless. He couldn’t explain it any better than that.

Oh, this chapter was so heart-pounding and great. I love how Todd got Evangeline out of the clince and to Switzerland. I so enjoyed how you described Todd first glance of Evangeline when he and his crew was moving Evangeline. It was so sweet and heart felt. Todd and Dr. linder scenes were great. This was my favorite thoughts that Dr. Linder had.
Obviously, Evangeline Williamson was a very special woman to engender that kind of love and devotion in a man who wasn’t yet her husband.
He has no freaking idea of how much that statement is true to Todd 'freaking' Manning.
Oh Todd standing by Evangeline while she is going through her treatment was just wonderful. Todd's memories of needed Evangeline was right on point especially when he thought about their kiss at LTM. The second kiss that rock Llanview to it's core. You know that their kiss was so hot if Todd still gets exicited about thinking about it after so much time has past when it happen. Beautiful chapter Reese. :D

Wonderful first chapter Reese. You can just feel the pain that Todd has been through since Evangeline's accident. I never seen Todd in such a bad place. Finally Vicki got a clue to her brother's pain and who really has his heart, Evangeline. I loved the idea of Todd rescuing Evangeline and trying to fight for her life instead of letting her just waste away in her 'prison'. Something tells me that Todd is going to be very successful in getting Evangeline and saving her. Great job as always Reese.
