Title: Lions and Tigers and... Pears?

This was so cute; I love that little girl she is so cute and precocious LOL.  Thanks for sharing

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. I totally appreciate it. And... those little girls are based on my nieces. Believe me when I tell you that precocious is only the beginning. :D

Yeah, I think this is officially one of my favorite stories on the site. It made me laugh out loud and I'm dead tired from work today, I enjoyed it that much :D

I know this will never happen but I'm going to say it anway. I love Leeah and want to see her again. Older and still king of the jungle :D She was fantastic, as was this story.

Just really lovely work.

Author's Response:

Yay! I'm really glad you like it.

Ah yea, I've been thinking about another story for these characters since I put this one up and... nothing. Maybe though... one of these days. ;)

Okay, first off, thank you so much for sharing this story on the site, your writing is fantastic. And this made me get a little teary, I must admit. I've had similar experiecnes with  my sisters growing up. Leeah was just a sweetheart, and made me smile through this entire story. God, she's going to be something when she gets older. :)

Author's Response: I got teary too! Aw thanks, I really appreciate the compliments. I don't have a sister so I love how sweet they can be to each other (if they want).

Title: Lions and Tigers and... Pears?

This seems like an interesting story but I'm abit confused as to what this story is about. Is it a shape shifter story or just the imagination of a child? What is being a lion or tiger referring to? Maybe I'm thinking too much. Hopefully the upcoming chapters will clarify things for me.

Author's Response: sorry that you're confused! there aren't any more chapters, it's was a one-off short story. it's Leeah's imagination, she imagines that she's a lion and a tiger when she plays by herself.

Wow, this was beautiful! Such a sweet story, very nostalgic.

I love Leah. I was probably quite an opposite to her, very quiet but dreamy and into books and playing by myself. But I was very much in my own imagination as well, like Sierra, so I could easily relate to her.

I miss that, at times. Children can imagine and have so much fun, you captured that wonderful innocence of children so well. I love the contrast of adults in this too, and the way they're seen from a child's point of view.

This is a wonderful first story and I hope you write more stories too, this was fantastic!

Author's Response: aw thanks! I was completely not like Leeah. I've always loved kids who are just bursting with life and have a really active imagination. It's so heartwarming.
