She locked her husband out of the bedroom. She could have at least talked to him about how she felt first. Oh well I like Elizabeth. I'm glad Richard has someone in his corner. I do believe Mary is so inclined to be with him also. Wonderful chapter!!

There would have been no internal debate. I would have locked the door as soon as I entered the chamber. I still can't believe that Darcy will not accept the union of his cousin and Mary. Does he think that Fritzwilliam will not protect her?
