He wasn’t sure whether she’d let him touch her, so, for the moment, he just lingered by her bed."I can’t do this," she gasped, both physical and emotional pain clearly evident in her voice. "I can’t. I can’t go through this without you. Dammit, Scotty, please, please just show up."

Scotty was dumbfounded. Did she really not know he was there? He decided to risk touching her. The worst she could do was hit him or something, and he figured, after what he’d put her through, he deserved at least that much. Gently, he grasped her wrists and lowered them from her face, forcing her tear-filled eyes to meet his.

My fav part, I almost choked up. Love, love, loved the hospital scene.  I know what it’s like to be scared and alone; it’s no fun.  Sure there were family members present but he wasn’t there so I totally empathize with her meltdown, very realistic. I’m glad she wasn’t tripping or acting a fool. Her demeanor and his support of her made for a nice moment  Actually, the entire chapter read well and transitioned fluidly from each character’s perspective of past to present. (Excellent job!)

Interesting that Kat & Scotty are contemplating the meaning of their relationship; they’re both in denial. Be true to your heart people! Lol 

Love how the characters – Vera, Jeffries, Rush, Boss, the crew – all relate to one another and the subtle yet effective humor injected throughout the story (I’m a sucka for hilarity, laughter’s good for the soul). Also, their emotions, expressions, even body language is written fabulously. Scotty’s reaction to fatherhood as well as his indecision or fear of walking through that door just captivated me. (Awesome!)

I’m in love with Scotty!  He is such a great guy!  How Kat hasn’t molested him, repeatedly, just blows my mind.  I mean, a fine-ass virile man is in her bed every night!!! How can she not cop-a-feel or scratch that damn itch every now and then is beyond my comprehension.  She’s a better woman than me I’ll tell you that but…, I understand and admire their devotion to the children and making their ‘family’ unit work.

Neither Scotty nor Kat realize they are in a real relationship they just haven't sealed the deal with sex yet. Neither has bother to go on a date since the baby has been born, Scotty would rather be home in PJ's watch tv with his daughter that says a lot right there..Kat dreaming about sexing Scotty her subconscious is telling her what she refuse to admit to herself...She wants Scotty!!

Can wait til the get it on...I'm sure it's going to be hot..

She confused the hell of him at the end. That poor man probably doesn't know up from down after she acted, all because she had a sex dream about him.

I can’t even tell you how much I enjoyed this chapter or which scene was my favorite.  I’ve read it three times so far; each time gets better than the next.  Kat’s silence was more audible than her rants; the raw emotion that overflowed from her in the car was so arresting, and genuine.  I felt her pain, felt for her actually. (Awesome job there.)

These two are catching feelings and they don't even realize it!!!! The fact that he basically watched her sleep touched my heart!

as i said before, i haven't watched the show all that much, but i'm starting to get a strong sense of their personalities while i'm reading this, and i really see their potential.

i like kat's hard headed drivenness, though it has the ability to get her in trouble.

and i like scotty's dedication to doing the right thing even when he's not always sure what that is, seems he's been a bad boy in the past.

i'm so worried about what happens, though i know their daughters born healthy, but hurry up and update! :) i'm anxious!

Did you really leave off right there, I must have missed a paragraph!!!! Obviously she doesn't lose the baby, but something is beyond wrong.
