The scene the morning after was far more civil, although I wasn't sure whether Donovan was simply taking shots at Matt because he could or was he trying to goad him into a fight. Again, Matt did well holding it together.
Matt's talk with Taylor and her own admissions were honest. She might still love him, but does she trust him? Some of that depends on how well Matt can do talking about valuing, appreciating, and respecting her. Dealing with racism now.
Taylor was on the right track when she noted that he came back now, only since retiring. In other words, if he hadn't decided to retire then but played another two, four years, he wouldn't be in her face now begging for a second chance??
That should stump ole Matty.
You are doing very well telling this. Can't wait for the next chapter!

ok love that Donovan was doing sit ups while telling matthew off that was very hot. Second he makes a point this is not a game and talyor has a hard choice matthew and her have a amazing yet hurtfully passed. Donovan makes her feels safe and great lister but he young and she doesnt' get butterfly in her stomach with him witch is crazy fine as that man is lol but like D man said who ever get her is lucky s.o.b. love the story girl the dram the love everything. thanks for the updated and looking forward to the next one.

Like I mentioned before he needs to prove it in major...
Its not going to be easy but I will say this... Donovan's need to goad Matt into a reaction shows again why he is just TOO IMMATURE and DUMB for Ms Taylor... Glad he knows he doesn't deserve Taylor but that whole conversation with Matt left me wanting to smack Mr. Donovan across the room (while he was still doing crunches LOL!)
I wonder how the owner and CEO of the company both Taylor and Matt would feel about Taylor and Matt getting together... I know he gave Matt the job but I am sure Matt didn't disclose why he wanted it (or did he???)

$hort chapter,but moving in the right direction.While Taylor is asking the right questions concerning Matt's action, I think she also needs to search herself as well.
One reader stated that Matt should have talked to Matt about the racist comments her received. But Taylor never spoke up either. I don't think either of them were mature either to handle the potential adversity the first time around. So I hope they'll both do some soul searching and come committed to each other come what may.
Admire Taylor's ability to forgive Matt,I like reading about who can love faults and all.
Looking forward to the next update.

Yeah, all I see are good friends here for Taylor and Donovan because she still loves dum-dum. Nothing else is gonna happen until she sorts that huge mess out. So Donovan, move on baby, dont waste your time. Leave them to themselves to work out their many issues. I dont want him to get hurt in all of this. Well, to be fair, Matt's many issues. He's the only bonehead here.

The problem I have with Matt is not so much why he broke Taylor's heart, but how he did the deed 'coz if she was the person he chose to spend the rest of his life with then why didn't he tell her about his dilemma & talk it over with her. If his family knew all about it & were trying to convince him to disregard Tom's advice, did he think Taylor would make him choose between his career & her too? Is that why he didn't say anything when he walked out the way he did? Eight years is a long time to carry around all that pain & guilt, especially when you know it's no-one elses fault but your own. I really hope for Matt's sake that he stops feeling sorry for himself & starts proving to Taylor & himself that he is worthy & deserving of her love. I applaud that fact that he is determined to fight for her... how romantical (sigh)

Yes it does seem that Donavan's buggy is way out there before the horse. I'm anxious to see how things roll. I'm not counting Matt out yet. Right now the universe is tilted in his favor.
Question is...will she make a decision from her head or simply walk away from them both?

Ahhhhh! Donovan baby love u to pieces you're a sweet guy but not for Tay her heart is still with Matt. So don't hold on long cause I don't want you to become bitter and turned off your true match when she comes along.
Great update Matt has a lot to make up for. I wonder if Tay can go back to Atlanta without Matt knowing. Cause he is waiting up for her @ the condo and though I know they need to work out their difference and I want to slap the taste out of his mouth she needs more space then just being out with Donovan all night plus I don't want it to look like she is running so I guess her leaving out without him knowing isn't a good idea huh.
