The more you write about DONOVAN the more I just want to puke every time he tries to make a move or endear himself to Taylor...

Something about him I just don't like at all... Something is not right there...

TEAM MATT 150%... You know Taylor has no feelings for this young smarmy ass dude... and still he persists... Even though he knows her heart is with the "cowboy"... he even says it disparagingly...

Has anyone else noticed that everytime she says "Matt is your agent..." Donovan's reply is "we'll see", like its a damn threat or something... Ugh! Like I said something about him is just not right...

Love the quick updates... Can't wait to see where you go next... You have me like a crack fiend checking almost every hour... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Angela was rightfully angry. Somehow the more Matt tells his reason/excuse, the worse (not more pausable) it sounds.

I like that Donovan is re-assessing his game plan and slowing his approach. Unfortunately, I still don't see it getting him any more than a good friend in Taylor. O-kay, I admit he may be a nice guy after all. <sighs and rolls eyes>

Matthew, man, alcohol, jealosy, and confrontation are a lethal mix. Unless he passes out drunk before they get back to the condo, I predict that he will make an ass of himself. Alas things will get worse before they get better.

I can't wait for, "Where the hell have you been? It's four o'clock in the morning!!!" LOL

This is really getting good. Nothing like good old fashion competition to make Matt work harder. As for Donovan, I like the younger man going after a slightly older woman. I say go for it. Good job on this.

While she may be a bit naive in her view of racism today...hard to believe, but ok...this isn't an opportunity to pick on her either. This was Matt's decision...alone. Let's not forget that. Matt gets no pass on this, nor sympathy, because he didn't go to his partner, the one who was right in the trenches with him....TAYLOR...for help with it. It's not like he had just woken up and realized they were an interracial couple and what that may imply.

Matt catching hell for admitting his heart....umm....so did she! Did she not tell him...which he had no clue and probably never thought about really...about all the white women telling her that she was just a colorful past time for him. A piece of booty that meant nothing and that once he was done he would go back to where he belonged. That she wasn't good enough for him because she was black. Can you imagine how that must have made her feel? That's catching hell to me! But she dealt with it because she thought they were in it together. Then to find out that's the reason he left her in order to further his career, because he bought into the notion that her color was a professional liability to him. That hurts. She should be mad. Notice he didn't come to find her until after he retired professionally.

However, clearly she still loves him. He was her first.....everything. I guess you really don't forget that.

But I still contend that they have alot to talk about. How does she know that he wouldn't cave again under pressure? She needs to know that he's strong enough as a man, as her man, to stand up for her if need be. It would be unrealistic if her confidence in him wasn't severly shaken upon hearing his explanation. How could it not be.

She and Matt still have alot more to talk about.

I think that Taylor and Donovan will end up being good friends if nothing else. He's good people and genuinely likes her as a human being.
