It was like he truly cared about Maria. Why didn't he Laila to go with him? Ryan most certainly has feelings for Laila, so is he waiting for Jameson to mess his relationship with Laila? I am looking forward to the next update.

Oh...heated heat. I expected this. I see Laila's point. But she should have shown some of that diplomacy and told Maria to make arrangements with 'Alex'. I expected Jay to be pissed. I do believe that has a valid argument. Mother bailed, and he doesn't want a absentee visitor who breaks dates and dissapoints, leaving him to glue the poor child's heart back together!

LOL. It's a cute chapter, but it conveys some tough emotional baggage.
Laila is right to feel her feet moving too fast. But she needs to bathe in sunshine as well as in the energy of a life she wants. Even if J/J are just going to be her friends, she needs to be surrounded by some normalcy. Good read!
