All I know for sure is that Chase ia a creep, Laila is naive and blind, and she's in the wrong place and business if she's seeking the trust, support, and honesty she needs to survive domestic violence and whatever else is going on.

Wow! That was wild. Chase is bad news all around. And hurting her like he did. Did he really throw her off of the balcony OR did she dream it? I couldn't tell. And did Chase see what the good doctors were doing to Laila in the garage and t hen turn around to run!?!? Incredible. But... I could tell that that Dr. Jameison Rice is ALL THAT. What happened to make Chase the way he is. They've known each other since the age of 6, but he becomes abusive only after they get married? I'm not really getting the connection.

I remember reading this story before. Didn't jaminson have a little girl and laila 's husband was abusive? If so I love this story and always wondered what happened to it. Thanks for bringing it here and bringing it back!
