It's good to see some of the old Sabine shining through. Glad you softened up her character. I'm liking this Sabine much better. Now, she needs to hear how much she and Ulrich loved each other and she had a father that loved her dearly. She needs to know how that Vampire stole her from the her husband and turn her causing her to forget him or 300yrs.

Wow, she needs to be honest with Ulrich about her fear of Salvatore and his hold on her. Its good to see that time didn't fade the connection between she and Ulrich. Hope they can make it work and destroy Salvatore in the process. Loved the update.

You…are…freaking killing me girl!!! I LOVED it
I heart this couple, and Ulrich adores her. Their connection is stronger than Lycan vs Vampire, it transcends immortality and beyond. It’s as if gravity exists only for their reunion.
I hope there’s a way that Salvatore’s existence can be erased from her memory. How cruel is it to live for three-hundred-plus years thinking that no one loved her. Gawd I hope nothing impedes their progress…Sebine deserves the truth of her ancestry and most importantly, the fact that she is indeed married to the fine-ass Lycan king. (I can’t wait for Ulrich to rip that asshole to shreds – piece by disgusting piece!)
Very anxiously waiting for the next chapter.

Oh, thankies a thousand times, Variety...short, but oh so satisfying...
Ulrich and Sabine have finally made that connection that was never lost even through all the space and time...love like that never truly dies...oh, how I hope Ulrich tells her the whole truth of her life soon...I think that will quell some of the wanderlust that stirs within her...her feelings of aloneness...she's not alone and she has a rightful mate...a man (okay, Lycan) who loves and cherishes her...I think this might have been the greatest tragedy of all...she lost everything and was left with nothing because of one evil being's thirst for revenge...he used and abused her body and in some ways...broke her beautiful spirit and turned her into a creature of the night with no bearings to grab on to...I hope he dies a slow and painful death for all the sorrow he has wrought...soon, very soon Salvatore...your time is coming...and I want Ulrich and Sabine to rip him limb for limb...
Can't wait for more...this story just keeps getting better and better...

Yay! You made me very happy Variety! I love this story so much. I missed the chapter fifteen update somewhere..lol! It was sweet.
I like how you're getting straight to business with Sabine and Ulrich. I knew that she would start remembering pretty quickly in Ulrich presence, I wouldn't believe it otherwise. It was too deep between them for her not to be. I'm also glad you're not dragging that aspect of the story out. I hate that Sabine had suffered because of Salvatore and its time she and Ulrich come together and get him!
Vanessa is going to be a problem, of course. But Sabine is the rightful queen here. How are the lycans going to accept a vampire as queen.
