WOW!  This story continues to be so exciting and filled with the surprising twists and turns that real life has.  The characters are so huge, not one dimensional, they truly Live. 

 I understand why Nikolai is so upset that Sunny wants to go to the Sudan, I myself don't want her to go and wonder why should she risk her young wonderful life in such a savage area so torn with people acting without souls toward each other.  I myself am a Black woman, much older than Sunshine but, I would not go to that dangerous place.  Similar to some of the crime infested neighborhoods of my city Philadelphia!  Too dangerous for me and most people to choose to live in and usually even avoid visiting.

I WISH SUNNY WOULD NOT GO! But, it is the kind of person she is that compells her, she possess the kind of nature, vision and love for others that our great leaders, male and female, are made of.  However, in the genocidal Sudan it is not just death that is a possibility but, as Nikolai said to her, the brutal things the men may do if they catch her.  Sunny is an innocent, she has never really experienced the savage cruelty of human nature; hence, IMO, her idealism also fuels her motivation for this trip.

That was some powerful possessive love making Nikolai put on Sunshine, he loves her so and is so scared of her being harmed over there in Sudan, even killed, I'm so sorry for his despair!

And, I like the Russian translations being at the end of the story instead of within context; so that the spirit-rhythm (or sense) of what is happening is not broken; anyway, I pretty much get enough feeling of what he is feeling, the later English translations are also for me like an added thrill that I enjoy!

I liked the flashbacks to Sunshine's mother Jasmine, her good wisdom given about the positive of human nature for change:  "The whole of human history is predicated on one fact. People change.  People change everyday". Jasmine said. “We grow and we learn. We change based upon what we have learned. Every time you go to school and learn something new, you change. You’ve changed from just five minutes ago."  I think Sunny will use this as her confidence that Nikolai can change for the better.

I enjoyed Nikki and Sunny's day together:  a comfortable pleasant breakfast with humorous bantering and their lovely walk; just leisurely chatting and Sunny getting to know more of his "beginnings", little by little.  I love that Nikolai is taking his courtship of her slow; it is more important to him to win her!  Nikolai is wonderful, truly a woman's dream.!!

I like the flashback to Nikolai's boyhood, at age 18, wrongly imprisoned, cast off from parental love, he meets the old man  Stanislavsky, who informally adopts him as a son and taught him how to survive and become the Man he would need to become for survival.

AH!  My beloved Nikolai got a tatto of Sunshine put on himself, he loves her so!!

As they conversed before eating their dinner and Nikolai told Sunnny of his love for her, the joy and meaning to his life she and that love bring, he brought tears to my eyes he so well defined the spirit of love its awsome affect!

Later, their love making made my head swim, it was so beautiful! So intimate, they missed each other so much!!

I like Sergei, he's a decent nice guy but I never want him to ever interfere in romance between Nikolai and Sunshine, so I was very glad when Sunny strongly told him she sees him as only a friend.

YAYyy!!  Nikolai is in pursuit of his honey!  Nikki put a continual grin on my face and sometimes giggles while he slowly seduced Sunny's heart than finally the Kiss including some to her honey-pot!  Yeah!  She still loves him and I  so much hope he wins her back.  Can't wait to see them on their upcoming date.  

My heart breaks for Nikolai his world is torn asunder!!  It's natural that Sunshine could not forgive him, especially still in her grief!  But he was desperate and if I were Nikolia I too would have done it.  LOL, just being honest!

I came across this completed story & it just took off for me. It was a real *page turner* I could literally not stop reading. I put in almost a whole 24hrs reading. 

Thank you for writing such a well thought out and well written story.  I hope to see a sequel to this story. I love to see what happens down the line. This was a real romantic and at times humorous story. The banter between the main characters was so real, I could picture everything ;-) in my minds eye.

I loved their togetherness in this chapter; the support and comfort Nikolai gave to Sunny, now in her time of greatest need, her grief.  I Loved him running a bath for her, undressing her but careful not to look, I think to enable keeping his desires from flaring.  He wants this to be just about her!

Nikolai brought tears to my eyes when he responded to her protests of being so cared for:  "Let me take care of you, please, just this once".  He smiled sadly "while I can".

That made me cry because I think he  may feel that Jacob's death releases her from debt-bind to him, so she may leave him because, he cannot be sure she has fallin in love with him, as he is in love with her! 

That's nice; at least when Sunny's mother died her husband Jacob had fulfilled her hopes that he's become that better man of himself, GAWD!  Love!  Jacob loved his Jasmine so much, she was his hope and strength!  love is like that, so supportive and uplifting, it nourishes you!

My GAWD!  Jacob seemed finally able to begin to break his gambling addiction and Peanut comes up to show he is worse than a swindler, he's a punk murderer.  Jacob just can't catch a break!!

Nikolai needs Jacob to remain gambling addicted so that he will continue to lose and pile up debt to him, thus continuing to sustain Nikki's hold on Sunny.  But, it would be something if Jacob's began to win and win big!

Its wrong for me to say it but, I hope Jacob remains a gambling loser; Nikki's happiness is mine, so I want him to keep Sunny until he is sure of her love enough to ask her to marry him and really have happiness by her being his voluntarily mate and as permanent as marriage can give!

I wonder where Darla is, she seems to have a new scheme! 

I love the Brazilian bikinni Nikolai gave Sunshine, sounds great for an intimate couple, removing all barriers to the good stuff!!  I wonder why Nikokai did not want Sunny to give him oral, perhaps he feels his "lady" shouldn't!

Damn!....that bitch Darla, now she'll know Sunny's connected to Nikolai, what trouble will Darla make! 

I'm glad to finally get a lot of love making between Nikolai and Sunshine because, its been deficient.  The love making was warm and sweet!  It was good to hear Sunny muse to herself how much she misses Nikki when he's away, he deserves her special feelings, he loves her so much.

I don't like Sergei getting so personal with Sunny, hugging her, because he has romantic feelings for her, I don't want him causing problems in her relationship.

Why does Nikolai hate Pop Jones?.... maybe he fears him as a threat, to take Sunny away or is he jealous of Sunny's love for her father?... Nikki doesn't want to share any of her.  Evidently, he's been so love deficient even when a child. 

I'm so glad Nikolai let Sunny go to the party, otherwise that was gonna cause a big rift between them!

But, Nikki is very possessive, he's falling in love with her but feels his hold is only because of the debt!
