Summary:

 

A fantasy tale set in Llanview.  The world is split in two, the light and the dark, in the light are the humans that walk the earth blissfully unaware that in the darkness creatures of the night wait to strike.  Evangeline Williamson is a retired vampire slayer who all her life has had to straddle the line between the light and the dark.  Living a quiet life in Llanview she thinks she has managed to escape her secret past until she becomes the object of affection for two rivals from different vampire clans.  Drawn to both, she finds herself caught up in old vendettas and hidden agendas.  Now as a clan war threatens to break out jeopardizing all of humanity, Evangeline must make a choice: follow her head and lead a normal life in the light or follow her heart and her soul mate into the dark.

Summary:
