Very sweet chapter..sad, but sweet because of how Nikolai took care of the sibblings..I loved all of the conversations between he and sibblings! But..it's the calm before Nikki's storm..now what? He's sooooooo loves this girl..and like someone said she is the life force of this family and household..a life force Nikki can't do without now..She's his light in an otherwise dark world..and..I think..he has abandonment issues..that only came to light with Sunny!  Yeah he says he's not angry with his parents and 'friends' that rejected him, but it left him with big time trust issues..I mean, he approached Ben like he was a foreign object! LOL..

So as Sunny likes to say..Carry on Grasshopper! Thanks for the update..can't wait til the next!

I knew this chapter started so sweet and powerful for a reason..I don't hate Darla..she learned some lessons herself..and all of the stuff that happened between Nikolai and Jacob needed to be revealed..Nikolai told Sunny he demanded loyalty from people in his life..that's another way to say he must be able to trust you..and Sunny must be able to trust him..so the truth needed to be told..and now their relationship has to deal with the fall out..can all they mean to each other withstand Nikolai's treachery?  It is yet to be determined! I have faith in Sunny and Nikki....I have faith! LOL..

Good job on the reveal to Sunny..Good bye Darla and good riddance..

If you were trying to convey that Sunny hasn't said those 3 little words to Nikki out of fear...Fear to trust that Nikki is all that he says he is (in loving her)...Faith in their love for each other..Faith that their love will see them through whatever life (especially Nikki's lifestyle) will bring..Then you did great O!  Loved the conv with Royce..very enlightening..very revealing..and I don't believe there is  any such thing as loving too hard only loving in the wrong way..meaning not loving yourself..and therefore ruining any love you have for others..because that will happen..just as Royce and Jacob did...

I believe love changes people..not always..but then like Royce says everyone has a different 'bottom'...and maybe Nikki has found his..don't know if that means he will give up the biz...but maybe he can go completely legit eventually..being safe for the family he's found with Sunny...they'll have to have the convo next..the convo where both reveal their feelings and who they are..should be interesting...

How ironic that Sergei has basically chosen (at least in part) the same solution Jocab Jones chose..I hope no one is hurt..gunshot wounds have to be reported, don't they?  And I certainly don't want anyone to die!

Sergei says Nikolai 'caged' Sunny..well Sergei, what do you think will happen if you kill Nikolai and you also end up dead?  Sunny WILL NOT be free..for a very long time..she will be filled with guilt and that will tie her hands..not to mention in unspeakable pain..which could mean she won't pick up the pieces and move on! She'll be heartbroken..she's strong..but really you think she's that strong? 

You're too late Sergei..Nikki is right..She's choosing to be with Nikki..maybe her eyes aren't wide open, but deep down she knows what's going on..and she still can make a choice (although I hope it's with Nikki!)...she has to make the choice..no going back..

My hope is that Stanislovasky is setting things up so Nikki can get out the mob..won't wash him clean..but at least he can make a life with his love..besides anything that gets Nikolai, the Bloody 'off the streets' is a winner to me! LOL

Loved the convo between the two guys though..and it was very climatic to have Sunny walk in at that moment..definitely a wow moment for me! But..you made one mean ass cliffhanger! LOL..good work chica!

Holy cow! WTH is Sergei thinking?! I read through this whole chapter with great trepidiation!  Geez..I was right there with Nikki..feeling all that fear! I'm impressed with Stanislansky..I hope he's going to do what I think he's going to do..release his son..He's been a true father..first he taught him how to survive in a hopeless situation..and now..well hopefully he's going to protect him OUT of the biz..at least the illegitmate stuff anyway..I hope! I hope! Yeah the Godfather sees what we all see in Sunny/Nikki..Nikki IS a better man..she's good for him..and the Godfather is all about keep the lights on in his son's eyes..
