It seems you're not convinced in the strength of a Martha-Tom relationship either. Who then is her true equal and mate?

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7- We finally meet

I wanted to wait until I got to the last chapter before I commented. Woo-wee! This is getting good! Matt's got competition, or at least, that's how he sees it.

A very good start to a compelling story. I'm a huge fan of these types of storylines.

I love how Taylor knew what Matt's reflex leg-shake was. It's always great to see how two people are trying to play cool and above it all when they know each other so well and know exactly what buttons to push. Great for writing chemistry, especially when you include characters such as Donovan who aren't your run-of-the-mill distracting hottie. There's something about him. I hope he's to show more complexity in future chapters which will make even Matt question whether Taylor shouldn't choose him instead. LOL!

I hope you continue to update frequently. I'm really enjoying this story.

BM, I think you captured that sexy mofo just right. He is a tricky one--wears a mask to everyone so long, so often that even he forgets who he really is, I think.

Take how he is all Alpha Male with Storm- laying down da law about how things are going to happen because "dis is ma bed, you come t' ma bed". But he really wants to know that she wants/needs him. He wants to hear her "beg" for him. But he's the one completely under her spell and he doesn't really know it.

And while he's thinking about how he's leaving his mark on her, all it takes is a kiss and to hear his name through her breathy whisper to have him pop his cork. LOL!

I wonder if he even knows this.

I like to think the shifting dynamics between them played with his head a bit. I can see him acting out because of it. But in the end he just wants her to want him, which of course she does ;)

You perfect the fast pacing of all this action. And girl, I needed this today since Aunt Flo stopped by and has me feeling all yucky. I cannot get enough of this story! And I'm dying to see how the fireworks will be when CoCo and Mal finally do what they're dying to do. I wonder how loving a man like Mal (or better yet, *letting* a man like Mal love her) will affect her.

Title: Full Bloom

Now, I've been enjoying the story from the jump but this chapter just kicked it into overdrive. It's all fallen into place. Love. IT!!

But one thing has me scratching my head. If Tab knew things weren't good when Benny would call her 'Tabby cat' (and I'm speculating here but) I would imagine that her family would not use that same term. But in the first chapter Jace kept calling her Tabby cat. Would that nickname not throw her back into the horrible past with Benny who used to call her that when something was wrong?

That's a good point and I thought about that too when I was revising the chapters. I wanted to show how a joyous occasion, good company (Jace), good alcohol and 'some other things' could help Tabby learn to let go of her hurtful past for one night. She is at least owed a GOOD vacation. But I'm gonna be honest, given where she was when Jace called her " 'lil' Tabby cat" (chap.3) I don't think that she too much cared. But I'm so glad that you love it so far. THANKS!!!
