Title: Chapter 11: Almost Doesn't Count

Loved the update. I think Maks is in love and feels Brandy is his soulmate and is willing to do anything to accomodate her but Brandy has trust issues and doesn't really seem willing to give Maks a chance. She's taking a walk on the wild side but it makes me wonder if she's using him and not serious about a relationship.

I think she should stay and work/wait it out with him. Meet his parents as friends. She shouldn't be running away from the situation/problems or Maks. She needs to communicate better with him. Hey, she should know that pregnancy is a risk when having sex. At least Maks is willing to make an honest woman out of her but she seems determined to destroy this relationship.



Author's Response: I believe Brandy thinks she doesn't deserve to be loved, especially with someone like Maksim. So in her mind she trying to destroy their realtionship, but her tender heart wants to let go and give it a chance. Thanks for your feedback. Now onto Chapter 11/12.

Loved it! Something needed to shake Brandy up.....She was dangly too much with Maks' feelings. He didn't go too far as he had to make the pretend breakup realistic.  She needed a reality check as his feelings were involved. No one is guaranteed a happily ever after but when love comes, for the most part it may be worth the risk as there's only one life to live. And it has nothing to do with looks, its all about what's going on with the heart.

Love the update and hope Joan was sincere. Still not feeling Brandy too much for now. She's like a child and can't seem to make up her mind about what she wants. She needs to put Maks out of his misery if she's not sincere. Trust is a two way street....she can't have her cake and eat it too. Its like she's dangling him on a string.

I'm disappointed she decided to leave and I'm with Maks ....it seems like its over. Hmmm, are they really meant to be??? Maks seem to be the more serious of the two. Maybe Brandy was just scratching an itch and decided to run when things got tough. She can take all the time in the world but she needs to figure out what she wants. She's too high strung!

Glad Maks is up for the challenge as Brandy is so stubborn. But she really has some nerve after she's been giving him the run around and flirting with strangers as she admitted on the George show. She really needs to own up to her crap too. If she wants Maks she needs to be serious in order for them to move forward.

Sorry to hear about your GM but hope she recovers ok. Wow, suicide at 11yrs??? I can't even imagine that. That's  frightening and really sad! How can a family recover from something like that??
