Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The Wrong Reason

I love how mature Tara is being now...she's fought so hard for her independence and sanity...glad she is the voice of reason and she recognizes that there are no quick "fixes" to her and Sam's situation...I like the idea of co-parenting for now...they each love that little girl with all their hearts...but still that is no reason to jump head long into marriage...they need to really get to know each other as individuals...marriage does not guarantee stability especially if there is underlying resentment and in-fighting going on between the parents...they should just keep remember to always put Maya first in all of their decisions...I really love this story because it's so true-to-life and human...glad Sam decided not to keep pushing for marriage...because Tara will just simply push back...can't get over Lettie Mae offering her "services" as a babysitter...is she crazy...that's like letting a thief loose in a bank after business hours...can't wait to see what you come up with next in this intriguing story...thanks so much for the update...

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10: A Chance for Something Real

Oh how I love this story...though it has supernatural elements in it...there's something just so "human" about it...it has heart...

I hope Tara doesn't go back on her word and really gives Sam a chance...that's all he needs really...and both of them need a chance to explore their true feelings for each other...because despite the unorthodox nature of their relationship...they do truly care for each other as individuals...who knows they might just surprise themselves with discovering that those feelings run deep...loved that Sam opened up to Tara about his experience with the Merlotte's...that had to be devastating for his psyche...and gives him even more reason than ever that his child never has to experience such a fate...family is so important to Sam...hope Tara gets over her issues enough to see that...I know she doesn't have the best self-esteem...being a survivor of abuse tends to make one untrustworthy and leaves one with the feeling of being unlovable...I hope it works out for them...

P.S.  I got such a kick out of seeing my hometown in this story...I'm from northern Louisiana and I live in the town of Bastrop so that was such a hoot for me to read that...anyway...can't wait to read more...love this new take on the Tam relationship...

Author's Response:

Thannks so much for reading.

I'm in Houston, but I had an uncle from Northern Louisiana and spent some time there when I was a little girl. I'm trying to give a shout out to as many towns in the area as I can :-)

Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Our Ticket to the Good Life

Lettie Mae makes me ill!!!! A more loathesome creature there has never been...this pathetic, pitiful excuse for a mother...and people wonder why Tara has such a chip on her shoulder and is so guarded with her heart...oh how I hate that witch!!!!

The length she's willing to go to bilk her own daughter...one she claims to love is astounding...this subhuman that poor Tara has the misfortune as being her daughter...using people...she's uses her own child's feelings of unconditional love and need to have a nurturing mother against her...so glad Tara threw her sorry behind out of her house...and I hope when Sam finds out he has a 'discussion' with that wretched beast...the nerve of the woman...I can't get over her...she's done nothing with her life and yet has the nerve to try to tear Tara down for daring to want better for her life and Maya's...this update really, really pissed me off...but you captured exactly the essence of Lettie Mae to a tee...this is why I love this story so much...you are so true to the characterizations of these characters and keep it very real...can't wait to see what you come up with next...I hope that this little incident will make the Tam bond even stronger...looking forward to the next update soon...Excellent!!!!

Title: Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Broken Promises

I didn't think it was possible to hate Lettie Mae any more than I already did...but no she didn't just interrupt them now that they were finally making some huge strides toward progress in their relationship...man, I could strangle that woman, lol...now what does she want now...ugggh....she'd better have a darned good reason to be knocking on Tara's door this time of night...way to ruin a perfect evening and possibly an even more memorable night....and Three...you're such a tease...but I ain't mad at ya...loved the update!!!!

And Merry Christmas to you and yours this holiday season...thanks for entertaining me!!!!

Author's Response: LMAO! Lettie has the worst timing, doesn't she? Thanks for reading!

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Father and Protector

Oh, no...my Sam better not be hurt too badly...poor Tara...girlfriend can't seem to catch a break...now her man's been in an accident...

I loved Tara opening up to Sam after her confrontation with Lettie Mae...what a sweet scene of him, Tara, and Maya falling asleep in each other's arm...our little Tara is growing up...she's opening up and letting love and Sam into her heart...and slowly but surely they're becoming what they were always meant to be...a family...Sam is such a good man...true and solid...protector and father...and soon to be lover in the truest sense of the word...see, Sam has finally learned that you can't force something...just sit right back and let it happen naturally and good things will surely come your way...

Can't wait for the much promised happiness to come their way...love this story!!!!

Wow...now that's what I'm talking about Three...had to work hard for that...but in the end it was worth it...she told him she loved him and he reciprocated...and they've taken that leap of faith...awww, 'tis beautiful...my little family is coming together...and this is so beautifully written...loved it!!!

Can't wait for the next update!!! Love this story!!!!

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Sunday Dinner

Tobaggogirl...ITA...now I know Sam and Tara are soulmates...but since Ball and Co. insist on the scenic route to come to that conclusion...then I might as well be entertained while I'm sightseeing...Franklin was that for me...Eggs and Daphne...not so much...and I agree about Lorena...talk about one twisted biotch...sadistic and delusional...but I wouldn't have minded if she's taken Sookie out before she met her true death...but I'm probably one of the few people who could do without the Bill/Sookie/Eric storyline...they drive me batty...thank goodness for the 'side' stories or I'd have given up on True Blood a loooong time ago...and I also hated they had stupid arse Jason Stackhouse to come to Tara's rescue...one because the stupidest character on the show got to take out the coolest vamp on the show...and like you said...it should have been Sam...but noooooooo...the dumbarse got the honors...at the very least....Tara should have been able to send Frankie baby to his true death herself...

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 - A Perfect Day

I loved how you brought the emotion in this chapter...Tara is finally starting to believe that she 'deserves' happiness...what a refreshing take on her character...I've always thought of Tara as this fragile little flower with thorns...the thorns were there to protect her from the unknown...every time she tries to let anyone close...her insecurities (and frankly its quite realistic considering she's a child of abuse) keeps everyone at bay...yet, she's finally taken that leap of faith and is trying to allow someone in sans mind control...Sam...I really think the True Blood writers missed the boat on this very important aspect of the Tara/Sam dynamic...they are IMHO two peas from the very same pod...the connection they share is strong...yet, the show insists on showing mostly the physical and not so much the emotional bond these two characters share...that's what I meant by them needing work on the emotional plane...physically they are great together...but I thank you for exploring the much more deeper and dare I say it...but interesting level of their connection...their emotions...can't wait to see them 'dating' and getting to really know each other...

Author's Response: Thanks for pushing me in the right direction. You're so right about the show lacking in exploring characters' deeper emotions and so the viewers are left to 'fill in the gaps'.

Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - With a Little Work

Haha...I loved the "unboyfriendable" conversation between Tara and Sam in season 1 back when I was really rooting for them...kept hoping they'd each get over their hang-ups and misplaced "love" for people who really didn't know they existed...can't wait to see where you take this...reading onward...

Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 13 - Payback Time

I'm sorry I haven't left a review in awhile...but work called...anywho...have a few days of winter vacation...so I finally caught up...loved this story btw....love Tam...

I love how you write Tara in this tale...you show all of her vulnerabilities without making her be a victim...something Ball and the writers of True Blood seem to get off on to the extreme sometimes...yes, Tara has faced many hardships in her life...but she's a survivor...she's scarred and scared...one thing that always gets me if sometimes people seem to forget all things that Tara has had to deal with in her relatively young life...surviving abuse is never easy...especially when there is a role reversal where the child has to assume the role of parent...Lettie Mae has never been a true parent...and though Tara hates what she's done to her...she still feels a responsibility to her mom...children love unconditionally...even when it's not deserved or earned...thus, it has shaped all of her personal relationships...she (Tara) doesn't think she deserves love...she doesn't have that background of a healthy love relationship...so for her it's harder to accept than to most...so her feelings for Sam is foreign to her...she's afraid to trust what she feels...even though she recognizes it for what it is...love...to actually to be able to say it back to him was a milestone for her...

Sam...in a sense is the same as her...he's had hardship too...but he seeks love with that special person and has found it in Tara...but he's also afraid that if he reveals that part of him that he will lose her...hence his quandry...he wants to share everything with her...but can he trust enough in their love to reveal his true nature...for now, they're living on borrowed time...but reveal it...he must...the question is can Tara accept all of him...love him in spite of what he reveals to her...my heart aches for both of them...I hope she remembers Morgan's advice...and realize that he is still the Sam that she loves...who loves her...

Can't wait for the reveal and how Tara handles the revelation...loving this story...please update soon...

Author's Response:

I couldn't have said it better than the way you've wonderfully put the entire story into perspective. I see what you mean by Ball and his writers failing to do with the Tara character. I wish he and his crew would open their eyes and consider what the TAM fans' take on all this and save this wonderful character from destruction. As you put it, there is so much that Ball could've done and could still do with Tara and Sam by building something substantial than have them as just one-night-buddies.  . Don't worry, I am slowly getting around to the big reveal which on one hand am afraid to do but on the other hand is a necessary evil. Again, thanks for reading.

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Sunday Dinner

You're trying to make cry, aren't you, FatJan...making me fall more and more in love with Tam...knowing an inevitable rift is coming...and not knowing if their love will survive this...I love Aunt Vie...she's a shifter as well as Marvin and Martin, isn't she...that's part of the reason Sam feels such an affinity for her and her family...she's also a gentle soul too...love that you've included at least one person in Sam's life that understands unconditionally what a shifter goes through...the isolation...the loneliness...the uncertainty of how you're going to be accepted by humans...something that Ball and Co. seem to forget...hated the Mickens...they were stereotypical low class leeches...instead of having some guidance in his life for what he is...they sponged off of him like it seems everyone else does/did...what a wasted opportunity to give us a more in-depth insight into the life and complications of being a shifter...glad you are correcting that mistake...

Tara senses that something is amiss...yet she is patient because she's trusting Sam more and more each day...but the longer he waits...the greater the chance of her reaction being not positive...this is such a beautiful yet complex tale of love and trust...can't wait to see where you take us next...

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Sunday Dinner

You two are killing me with the slang...it's hilarious...I thought people in the South talked funny and had our little sayings...but you two take the cake...I hope you don't take offense with this...just an observation...can't wait for Chapter 15...I'm loving the pace of the story...and guess what...a True Blood marathon is about to start of Season 3 in less than 30 minutes...don't want to miss that...and forgive me...but I enjoyed the Franklin character...James Frain is genius...and he made psychosis sexy...and endearing...even though he made my girl Tara's life hell...I was rooting for him and Tara...I know...bad me...but Ball and Crew struck comedic gold with Frain and Wesley...

Author's Response: That James Frain is so darn SEXY!! His looks and his voice...so...sigh!  I loved him as Franklyn Mott. It was bitter sweet for him to be killed off. I thought they would've kept him like in the books. Oh well, I am just glad he's no longer in Tara's life. He was too unstable for any human girl.

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14 - Sunday Dinner

Tobagogirl...you crack me up with your observations...I so agree with you...waste of oxygen is the right description for Eggs, Eric, and Alcide (I know Joe M has a smoking bod...so did Mechad Brooks who played Eggs)...but there's nothing going on between the ears...gotta have substance with my eye candy...and though Eric has potential...hooking him up with Sooks is like the kiss of death...did enjoy Bill away from Sookie earlier in Season 3...but that character (Sookie) castrates her men...and I was so done with the Bill character after he refused to help Tara at Russell's mansion when she was trying to flee from Franklin...and then he allowed her to be raped repeatedly by that nut...psst...Bill can jump a cliff for all I care now...

Hope FatJan doesn't get mad that we're semi-hijacking her thread...but I love talking about my True Blood...

Author's Response:

Oh no, not at all attheritz and tobagogirl. I am actually enjoying this. I will be posting chapter 15 by tomorrow. Hope you'll like it.

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 - Could Haves

I'm enjoying the happy times with Sam and Tara, FatJan...I know they must come to the end...but I'm loving it for now...don't want to wake up from the dream just quite yet...and I love the Aunt Vie character in your story...wish Ball would get a clue and give each of these characters as least one stable person in their corner so they can just release...and in a way, Lafayette is sorta that for Tara...though he has his own problems...but Sam doesn't have anyone on the show...and so he internalizes a lot of the ish that happens to him...no wonder he snapped...I'm just surprised it didn't happen a lot sooner than it did...

And if I may answer your question to Tobagogirl...no, I don't think it odd that you're not including the other supernatural elements of the show in this tale...one, because it isn't really necessary because you're focusing on the characters of Tara and Sam...the reveal that he is a shape-shifter is enough angst for this story...two, I really don't like any of the vamps except maybe Franklin (okay, I freakin' loved that  freaky little bastard hahaha) and Jessica...she's so sweet and there is something still somehow 'innocent' about her...she hasn't been jaded like the rest of the vamps...so she's still rootable...besides...like I said...I live for the 'secondary' characters on this show...they are so much more interesting and complex than the 'lead' characters...without the supporting cast I wouldn't bother watching the show...

Looking forward to the next update...

Author's Response: Thanks attheritz! Indeed Sam is an interesting character all by himself and a hot one at that. In season 3 he seeked out his family because he is lonely and came up with a serpents egg. The Mickens used him and his brother dissed him. No wonder he lost it in the end. I was happy that Tara was there for him even though she was going through a bag load of issues herself. Alas his revelation served as a turning point...one that I hope will be a good one.  Thanks for answering my questions and I agree that it is best that I concentrate on Tara and Sam. I have the hots for Franklin. He's such a sexy beast. ~melt~

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 - Could Haves

Tobagogirl...to answer your question about the reason for the love of the Franklin character...I think I can sum it up in two words...the actor...JAMES FRAIN...the man is a genius...he embodies the character that he portrays...sure, we know that something wasn't quite right with the Franklin character...he was a vicious killer...he killed a group of little old ladies at a casino because they wouldn't let him have a turn at the slots...but in his twisted mind...his killing them was justified...and he was so very lonely...immortality has a price...there's something so real about knowing that even though you know you will live forever...well, what happens to one's emotional needs during that time...sure, they are monsters (hell, they eat people for food)...and they are supposed to be soulless...but are they really...I do believe that Franklin was a needy soul before he was turned...and eternity and all has only amplified that neediness...that's why he became so fixated on Tara...there was something about her darkness that called to his needy soul...and as twisted as it sounds...he really did think he was saving her...he thought he'd found his 'soulmate'...unfortunately for him...Tara didn't share this thinking...yes, he mistreated her...hurt her in the worst possibly way a man can hurt a woman (he physically and psychologically raped her)...but again...in his pathos...he thought he was 'loving' her...does that excuse his treatment of her...hell no...but it does explain to an extent why he did the things he did...because in his darkness...he really did 'love' her the only way he was capable of 'loving' anything....

But Frain revelled in Franklin's psychosis...Franklin could have easily been a one-dimensional character...pure evil...but he was more than that because the actor made him so...he made him endearing (how is it possible to actually feel sorry for a monstrous being who would hurt the object of his obsession the way Franklin hurt Tara)...but I did...he was so pitiful in his loneliness...I rooted for him...and he was funny as all get out for us the audience...not so much the character of Tara...and Rutina and James played so well off of each other...that despite the dire seriousness of the situation (her being held Franklin hostage and a victim of his abuse)...you almost...almost forgot about that and was plain entertained with their interaction...and Franklin did give Tara back her fighting spirit...he showed her that she yes, she did indeed want to live...she wanted life...no matter how f-up it was...it was hers...and she fought with everything in her to keep it...the only misstep was that the writers didn't allow her to take him out her own darn self...that would have been truly a moment of empowerment...but I love her speech to him when he returned and how she refused to cower down to him...she was willing to face death...but on her terms...one of my favorite True Blood scenes ever was the Franklin and Tara confrontation scene this past season...bravo to both James Frain and Rutina Wesley...it was chilling, honest, and empowering all at the same time!!!!

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15 - Could Haves

Me either, Tobagogirl...Arlene's just one of those characters I tried to like...I just can't...and what she did most of this season to poor Terry was truly despicable...then she tried to abort that baby and acting all self-righteous and ish about abortions...I can't stand people like her...I've met quite a few Arlenes in my life growing up/living in the South (US)...bible-thumping bigots who can't or should I say...won't see the errors of their ways...

I look at it like this...I know the Operation "Let's torture Tara" is in overload...but at least a sista is getting steady work...and like I said earlier...I like to think of it as a journey that Tara and Sam are on to finally realize that they are meant for each other...we just have to be prepared to go through a couple of obstacles to get to the prize...

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16 - Truth Be Told

LOVED IT, Jan...I mean really adored these two in your fic...and so glad there will be a volume two...thought that was it...and started to panic, LOL...all and that worry and she knew already...and she still loves him the same...sigh...why can't Ball and Co. get it right on the show...

I was reading in again on you and Tobagogirl...sorry to intrude...but I can't stand Sookie and Eric...Eric...I'm with you Tobagogirl...I don't get the fascination with this character and how "fine" he's supposed to be...where...tall and stiff don't cut it for me...and I was too through with him after he, Pam, and Chow chained Laffy up in that basement like a dog or more like a runaway slave and then proceeded to feed off of him...that was truly sickening...I hates the bastard now...as far as I'm concerned...Russell could have cut out his, Bill's, and Sookie's hearts and fed them to his wolf-dogs...none of them do it for me...so I live for the characters of Sam and Tara, and to a lesser extent...Jessica and Hoyt (they're too sweet...love them)...and for all the ones who say Tara's a whiny biotch...are u kidding me...if anyone like Sookie over Tara...something is wrong...damsel in distress extrordinaire...and usually of her own dumb making...

But again, Jan...thanks for the first volume...I really hope we see more of Aunt Vie in volume 2...

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4 - A Simple Plan

Love it so far...Tara has really become unhinged and she's trying to drag Lafayette into her mess...and Eric is bad news...she'd better steer clear of him...he's a soulless killer who doesn't do 'favors' for anyone unless it benefits him...I still can't get over him, Pam, and Chow feasting on Lafayette and him ripping Royce the Redneck limb from limb...trust, Tara doesn't want to 'get to know' Eric...looking forward to reading the rest...

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing Bit of Warm Comfort.  Yeah, Tara is definitely in dark place.  Eric is definitely not vamp you wanna go messing with, but I think the one she really needs to worry about is Franklin Mott.  Read on to find out why...

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10 - King of the Beast / Epilogue

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful Tara/True Blood fic with us...you really are a very talented writer...I was totally engaged from start to finish...I love the character of Tara from TB...I love that she isn't the conventional "heroine"...but she is strong and a survivor to go through the things the writers of TB have heaped upon her head...yes, she makes a lot of foolish decisions usually ending with disastrous results...but you know what....she's full of heart....she's beautifully flawed...vulnerable...yet resilient....and uncompromising....she's views the world in black and white instead of shades of gray...but considering the world she inhabits...that might not be such a bad thing...I think I love her with Sam more than any of her other parings...they just seem to "get" each other...though I was thoroughly entertained this past season with the introduction of the vampire Franklin Mott into Tara's orbit...the character was so brilliantly portrayed by James Frain...I can honestly say that I could never "hate" him...but not condone his misguided and often dangerously obsessive actions towards Tara...and he made me laugh...though Tara's situation with him was far from even being remotely funny...but the role was so fleshed out and nuanced...that I could appreciate his presence in her life....YAY...a happy ending for Tam....I'm so excited....thanks again...looking forward to more of your stories in the future....

Title: Chapter 4: Part III - Naughty Bill (Alternate Chapter)

First, I would like to say you're a fantastic writer...very detailed imagery you employ in your writing...

I really only planned to read the first alternate ending of this tale...but curiosity got the better of me...and I read both...if I wasn't a fan of True Blood...I would say that the second ending was all kinds of hot...it was if I was truthful...yet I couldn't help but be skeeved out as I read...because Season 3 has really made me dislike the Bill character immensely...and not because of Sookie (I swear that character is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me now)...but because of what Bill did to Tara in Russell's mansion when she pleaded for his help but he refused her and left her to her own devices as Franklin mentally and physically abused, tortured, and RAPED her...that I can never forgive...probably the same reason I'll never see Eric in a 'romantic' light after what he, Pam, and Chow did to Lafayette when they chained him up like an animal in the dungeon at Fangtasia for selling V and fed from him...HYPOCRITES...in my mind, what Bill did Tara is the same or maybe even worse than Franklin did...at least Franklin was certifiably insane and fancied himself 'in love' with her...and Franklin was such an entertaining loon...at least for me...not so much for Tara...I absolutely hate the victimization of Tara...enough already, geesh...

But interesting take on the Bill/Tara dynamic...I'll grant you that much...I just never want to read about Bill's skeevy paws/fangs on her again...

Hi Attheritz.  Just wanted to let your know I've posted the first chapter of my newest True Blood fanfic, Save Me.  It is a Jason/Tara pairing that takes place between Season 3 episode 9 and 10 and will explore their relationship over the years through a series of flashbacks. If you get chance, please read and review.  I would love to get your feedback.

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 14: Can't Be Just Friends.

I absolutely LOVED this latest update...good for Maks...and yet poor Brandy...but homegirl needed a dose of reality to hit her square in the face to finally wake her up...and boy did she ever get it...I know Maks was kinda harsh with the breakup over the phone...but really, how much longer was she expecting him to keep waiting indefinitely while she decides what she wanted...she knows Maks is in love with her...he had told her and shown her in numerous ways how much he does...yet, she's still dragging her feet and out doing interviews as if he means nothing to her...now she's in a hell of her own making...misery is a poor substitute for true love...and that's what she had with Maks...but she let her overly cautious heart overrule her courage and now she's all alone...can't believe she thought they could remain friends after she's been trifling with that man's heart like that...I know she has hangups...but if she doesn't figure out a way to get over them or work through them...then she'll never be happy...my advice...woman up...and be willing to come with guns blazing to fight for your man...

Can I say how much I love Kelly in this story...she is a true friend...and Ray J came as a big surprise...but he loves his big sis...and he wants to see her happy even if she can't see it herself...loved the 'shock treatment' plan...I say it has a good chance of working...

Looking forward to more!!!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for being a faithful reader and reviewer. Poor Brandy, but like you said homegirl needed a swift kick, in order to see what's right in front of her. You can't but to love Kelly, we all need a friend like her. I love Ray J and I think he gets so much flack, I just wanted to soften him up a bit. Again thank you for your support. Nakia.

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 12 - My Buddy??

Brandy, Brandy, Brandy...what are you doing here, babe...trying to push Maks back into the "friend" zone...who are you kidding here...I can understand being reserved...but to not even bother contacting the man in TWO WEEKS...now, she has me thinking that maybe she's not that serious about him even though she keeps telling Maks she loves him...but how...as "friend" or as the man she's madly in love with...okay...so I know they needed a breather...but I didn't expect her to completely blow him off like that...

Joan was a nice surprise...I'm glad Maks has positive people in his corner and wants him to be happy...hmmm, maybe it will take Brandy seeing him in a few paparazzi photos out and about to wake her up...but knowing Brandy...she'll probably take that as a hint that Maks wasn't really being serious about her...

Can't wait for the catalyst to get this ball in motion again...looking forward to the next update...love this story!!!

Title: Chapter 13: Chapter 11: You See Right Through Me

I think they made the right decision for now...this relationship is moving much too fast and there are still too many issues that will cause problems for them...they both need to take a step back and reflect and decide just what it is they want from this relationship...though I have a feeling they are on different pages right now...Maks wants permanence and Brandy...well, she doesn't quite know what she wants...this was almost a mature conversation between them...I'm impressed...

I hope the separation helps them find clarity and they can have a do-over...get to really know each other without physical...looking forward to more...thanks again for the update...

Title: Chapter 11: Almost Doesn't Count

A little late to turn tail and run now...I can understand being caught up in the moment...but shouldn't she have thought some things through before she hooked up with Maks again...like, if I'm going to get my freak on...then by all means...bring and USE protection...her first experience with Seraii should have taught her this lesson...but I suppose you're right...she still has a lot of growing up to do...freaking out and turning on Maks still isn't going to solve the problem if she is in fact pregnant...and if she was so miffed with him about what she overheard about the situation with Erin...WHY IS SHE STILL SLEEPING WITH HIM...and I believe she is deliberately setting out to sabotage this new relationship anyway...she's so very insecure...wondering why someone like Maks wants to have something serious with someone like her when he can any woman in the world he wants...this all stems IMHO on her lack of confidence...not only in her professional life...but most decidedly in her personal life as well...

I believe Maks is being so nonchalant about this whole situation because he KNOWS that she is 'the one' for him...he's already picturing a life with her...family, marriage, kids...the whole nine yards...that's why he tried to reassure her that he'd do the honable thing by her...but I really do think it's a bit early in the game of love to be bringing another child into the mix...unfortunately, life is unpredictable...and 'accidents' happen...Maks is much more emotionally secure at this point in his life than Brandy is...don't know about time to be playing 'meet the parents' as of yet...they still have a lot of work to do on this relationship...there are some serious trust issues involved...and they still haven't even had the Erin conversation...

Can't wait to see what is in store for these two next...still loving this story...looking forward to another update soon...

Author's Response:

I can understand where you are coming from, but Brandy and Maks had 3 months to get to know one another. In fact during that time thay shared alot of their dreams and personal experinces, but as friends. what Brandy didn't realize was that Maks had fallen in love with her before they had sex. I know it feels that they are moving fast, but for them they feel as if they have been knowing eachother for a long time.

If Brandy could just get past all of her insecurities, Maks better watch out! Thanks for your feedback it is greatly appreciated.
