Summary:

Imani

A Pretty Woman is an inspirational tale of four strangers from different places who meet at the auspice of life and death, stirring each others hearts and setting their true spirits free.  Michelangelo Sabatino is a good son, a hardworking Type A, whose mother Linda, a former sculptor, whom he hardly knows has been released to hospice and needs a caregiver but his estranged wife Rachel isn't up to the challenge.  A chance encounter with the homeless Imani Demeksa, Linda discovers a kind and friendly heart who helps mediate a renewed relationship with mother and son before the element of time cements them strangers forever.

As for the crazy one Rachel she had a nerve to threaten Imani and request that she lie on her behalf...she is so laughable that you want to cry at her craziness.

Linda, Imani loves you like a parent. Hang in there and your hope for your son to be with a somewhat stable woman will come true.

What will Imani do when Rafi comes to the state to relieve her? Will Micky tell Rafi what is going on with Imani? He needs to talk with someone about his growing feelings for Imani.

I have to say that I didn't want them to get together but the way that you are writing them as two lost souls that have found each other is making me change my opinion. I can't wait until they let each other know that they are attracted to each other. But before that can happen Micky needs to really talk with his mother.

Great update...I thought that this wouldn't be a love story but more of an inspirational one were Imani and Linda would be there for each other.  But it appears that Micky might be falling for Imani.  AS for his wife she is a mess and I am not sure why he stays married to her anyway. 

If Linda has her way they will not be married for much longer, meddling old lady.

I agree with Imani he should have done a drug test or did something more.  He left his other with this woman after two days and I am not talking about going to work in the same state he is in another state.  He is just an idiot.  He is still in a relationship with a wife that no longer wants him and he suspects that she is living with another man and accepts this...WTF.  What is his problem.  Thanks for a great read.  I hope by Imani being there with Linda doesn't mess up her new job.  Thanks

To bad that Imani is being so stubborn. I guess I am in a slapping mood because I wanted to slap Imani my goodness. She is homeless, sleeping in her car and at the library and she was going to tun down a job where she would make enough money to pay the fines on her house and money to fix it up...WTH? Who in the world is this stupid woman...my goodness. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh she makes me sick with her self righteous bullshit.

As for Micky...duh, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...another person that needs to be pimped slap into next week, Dude you are still married to your cheating wife and you are kissing on another woman WTH?????????????????? Stoopid idiot.

Linda and her manipulative self she is something else. I feel bad that she is dying but at least she is trying to help Imani out.

There time together prior to her idiot son returning sounded like that they have a lot in common and that they enjoy each others company.

Author's Response: They are all coming to that place of understanding and respect.  They are like a family now...a real family.  They love each other, they disagree, they are all opinionated, but in the end there is the love.  Rafi is so rough and strong.  She is truly modeled after one of my sisters.  All hard on the outside, soft and squishy on the inside.  Job commands her to take everyone to task--occupational hazard.  Thanks for reading.  I'm grateful you've stuck it out.  It's so long.  I must learn to write shorter stories...LOL!

Summary:

Tiny, muffled footsteps bounded towards me. Faith stood no taller than three feet which I personally thought was petite for a four-year-old. Most of her cashew nut colored skin was covered by the oversized t-shirt she had draped over her shoulders. I giggled at the disheveled state that her dark brown hair was in. The curls hung loosely and frizzy all around her head; her curls extended at least a foot from her head. I briefly was reminded of Huey Freeman from The Boondocks. Some of her features matched mine exactly and some clearly didn’t. One feature was her big, smoky, blue-green eyes that stared up at me with innocence. They seemed to be framed with a few splashes of freckles. She would probably never know how much her eyes haunted me at times.

Ok what happened to Irene?  I hope that she is ok for Henry to be calling hysterical.  Looking forward to reading more.  I just read the the first part of this story so now I have a better idea who Henry and Irene are. Also, she had Jakes baby because her daughter has eyes like his.  Her daughter is 4 years old so does that mean she hasn't seen Jake in 4 years?  WOW.  Thanks
