Tiny, muffled footsteps bounded towards me. Faith stood no taller than three feet which I personally thought was petite for a four-year-old. Most of her cashew nut colored skin was covered by the oversized t-shirt she had draped over her shoulders. I giggled at the disheveled state that her dark brown hair was in. The curls hung loosely and frizzy all around her head; her curls extended at least a foot from her head. I briefly was reminded of Huey Freeman from The Boondocks. Some of her features matched mine exactly and some clearly didn’t. One feature was her big, smoky, blue-green eyes that stared up at me with innocence. They seemed to be framed with a few splashes of freckles. She would probably never know how much her eyes haunted me at times.

Suzette is a Diva in every way. From the way she dresses to the way she walks and talks. She is beginning to hate being the it girl and decides to take break to try this new spa retreat for some rest and relaxation. When her car breaks down on a country road she is more than happy to be rescued By Kyle a rancher and businessman.

Kyle is a mans man, he loves the outdoors and working with his hands. He is a cowboy after all. On one fateful day after doing some business in the city he is driving home when he rescues his destiny.

Suzette is a city girl in every way,in her high end jeans, expensive clothing and heels (who wears heels in the country?) but she was the most beautiful thing Kyle had ever seen he was a Big man and he loved a woman with curves, a woman who could handle a real man. From the moment he saw Suzette she was his.

At seventeen years old, Leah Henderson is homeless and pissed off as hell at the world. Pick pocketing is a trade she's become accustomed to and used as payment for what she thinks society owes her. However, her most recent victim is definitely no push-over or willing to let a "criminal" out of his sight until she is behind bars where she belongs.

Officer David Greenburg is a kind-hearted man with a loving temperament and wholesome family that, in his opinion, could use another addition and the young lady soaked to the bone sitting in front of him seems to be the perfect candidate. David's eighteen year old son is less than thrilled and more than happy to see her go, at least that's what he keeps telling himself.

Two local teens meet, as strangers and discover love ashore, thousands of miles away from home.  Their love was young, tender, and holding no expectations, but simply being.  A hidden truth denied them, anger delayed them, but fate intervenes and finds them nearly thirty years later.  Will they accept the pain of their past and forge a future or have time and change washed away the love they once knew?
