Summary:

The start of the story is great.  I ca understand her uneasiness in Matthew coming to work for her.  That had to be the most unsettling news she could have received.  A man that she had been engaged to now she was his boss.  She seems like she is very professional.  The question is why is he willing to come work for her?  Thanks

So he dropped her like a hawt potato because his manager told him to do so...what an idiot.  And now he is back.  I hope she makes him grovel and step all over him and then move on and find someone that can love all of her including her blackness. But I know in the end they will have their HEA...he doesn't deserve it though.  Also in the 8 years they have been apart has she dated anyone else?  If she didn't then she allowed him still to control her life and that is so unfair.  Thanks

As for her 8 years, yeah she's dated, but of course, Matt was her heart... I'm going to add some background in the next couple of chapters...

Ok, I stand corrected, she is not playing with Donovan she is genuinely interested in him.  I can't wait to see how all of this plays out.  Will she forgive Matthew when she finds out why he broke off their engagement?  I know that she will be hurt but she stated that she still loves him but how do you go back to what you had after someone eviscerates you the way that he did her.  Thanks

 As for Taylor and Matt...this comment was to much..."“A bruise. I was trying to break it " damn Skippy, punch that fool again for good measure.

Wait, hold up wait a minute...he said what: I haven’t lived.  I stopped living the day I left you. I want to live again."  Wasn't dude known for all the woman that he was screwing around with?  Taylor was demoralized that she hasn't been with anyone except for dude?  Oh he needs to suffer some more.  OK, I am good now....going back to read the rest of the chapter... 

 He got a what? ...I have a  spiritual advisor who told me that nothing in my life is going to go right until I owned up and made amends with you."  Dude had to go to someone and pay money for advice?  dude really, PLEASE...SPARE....ME....

She should have made him suffer more but she loves him and when we are in love we forgive a lot of things all I can say is she is a better woman than me because I would have loved to act out like Lorena Bobbitt and chop it...
