I actually understand why she choose to say goodbye because she knows how much love and passion he has for his family and beliefs that could possibly hurt the relationship in the future.  He needs to be away from her and realize what he wants because it will hurt him the most to be alienated from his family.  Her mother may say things but will not stand in her way of happiness whereas it doesn't seem the same for Eshan.  Again, he has to make that choice and sometimes being away from that person will bring the right choice to light.  I hope he can be strong enough to speak to his parents and tell them the truth and they can be understanding of what will make their son happy.  Great chapter and can't wait for the next one.

What is so funny to me is that Ethan is getting upset over imaginary scenarios with Aurora and another man but she gets blindsided with reality that he is essentially doing those scenarios with Katherine.  You are drinking right now because you know you are wrong.  I have the feeling he kept Katherine private from Aurora because he knew if she learned he was in a RELATIONSHIP with someone else, that information would distance her further emotionally from him.  If she wasn't in a relationship now she soon would be.  Please give her a love interest so Ethan can truly see how it feels vs just using his imagination.  It sounds like she is taking the blame for their marriage falling apart and Ethan is still clueless on his part.  Dude, how much money do you need?  He needs some counseling for his childhood and overcompensation in adulthood.  Hell hire a Vice President to help out with the workload.  Work is his escape, it had become a clutch.  Talking down about her career choice is a no no.  Regardless if you agree, you respect her choice.  I have a feeling these little digs have happened before during the marriage and was probably helped along by the MIL.  

They should set their mother up with a guy so she can be out of their business but knowing dragon lady, he will run with scorch marks on his butt.   The difference I see between Ethan and Ian is that Ian understands and accepts his wife as his first responsibility (a little late, but better late than never) and when push comes to shove it will be his wife.  For Ethan it will be his mother.  That is a heavy toll on a wife who is loving you physically, emotionally to know you will always be second best and despite your efforts, you have allowed your mother to degrade me on my wifely duties.  Wonder what Alma is going to say to him next.  

Absolutely loved it.  She slayed as soon as she stepped thru the door.  Loved the way she was throwing them digs at Ethan and at this point with Ethan heaping praise and affection on Katherine in her face when he considers her career a joke, as nothing serious while his career-driven girlfriend is wearing her clothes to make her look good, Puhleese Ethan.  Ethan need some help and honestly I don't want Aurora pining over him at all. I hope Alma let it slip that she stayed over and he sexed her up so that will give Aurora the unfortunately heartbreak needed to move on.  Once he knows she is REALLY moving on from him, he going to have a coming to Jesus moment.  But I hope he suffers a little more.  Maybe that's the sadistic devil on my shoulder.  He see's her out and smiling and being affectionate with someone other than him.

I want to see these characters again but move time forward like 2-5 yrs and have Bailey become a strong, compassionate, caring woman that David and Veronica can't touch.  Let her meet a man that is so much more than David even though she will have difficulty with opening her heart to trust again after this dumbass duo.  If you knew he wasn't happy you should have spoken to your friend like the woman you are and how dumb are you that you let is man screw you and your friend for 3 years.  The only reason he moving her out is because he either got caught or you just started making demands.  Ugh, damn if you have long term friends like this, who the hell needs an enemy.  I would go Madea on that ass and then leave with my head held high.  Please bring these characters back.  Would love to see more.

I am not a walking dead fan but this story has me soo interested that I can't stop reading any and every update you post and will not stop until the story is complete and I am sure by that time I will be sad that it is ended.  What is going on with Celeste, why is she strapped down and where.  You must post soon.

By the way, at first I did skip over this story because the title did not draw me in but I am soooo happy I decided to read it because I love it.

I am enjoying the read and I like the flow in the last chapter, it moved like a movie.

Actually these women are ridiculous, you pay for him to escort you and have sex with you and you think you are almighty.  The whole business is just that business and no emotion, why are you getting that involved.  There are others.  Anyway, I actually can understand Isaac's reticence to tell Denise especially after her full disclosure.  I would be concerned if she would be able to handle it, despite the face she shows today.  Then when he has tried to be honest before he was called names and laughed at.  He is in love and that would crush him if she didn't understand and left or returned to cutting herself because of him.  I'm not perfect but I would probably ride and die shaggy's theme " It wasn't me."
