What's a girl to do when there are two after you?
Why would Sallie want Hayes since he's been an ass to her...Casey is nice so I can understand an attraction there but why is a woman expected to yield to the advances of a man who treats her badly...he's handsome and white so it doesn't matter? Sure he saved her supposedly but now her family has seen him...couldn't they expose him as well?...Hayes could have dropped her off at the police station...she hit her head on a rock but it doesn't sound like he gave her any care since she was tied to a chair and dirty so again why did he save her especially since he's in hiding himself and doesn't seem to like Sallie at all...the premise that set up them being together seems just a bit far fetched but hey that's just me...

Again this story is not making sense...How did Sallie know who the Hayes brothers are yet Casey has no clue? And since Hayes is so well known in town then someone else would have figured out who he is...

Reviewer: jahchannah Signed You did an excellent job dealing with such difficult subject matter. This book is quite good. So many authors lack originality in dealing with relationships that start due to unplanned pregnancy. You took that storyline and made it heavy, heartfelt and very emotionally real.

Who wants Porter when Avery can have Hudson...I wouldn't want Porter if I had Hudson...just saying...this story is confusing...more layers of mystery are added without really providing real clues as to what is happening...but it's still quite early...hopefully clarity will be provided with subsequent chapters...

Reviewer: jahchannah Signed The story didn't progress much this chapter...learned that Porter seemed to feel some type of way about Hudson but who knows what that means...it's still early so clearly you are setting up the story...actually if I had to choose between Porter and Hudson based on looks alone, Hudson would win hands down so you really got to bring it to make a romance between Porter and Avery believable, imo...looking forward to see how you do it...
