Kendra is going to get pregnant. YAY!!! DeLeon will lose his damn mind if she leaves him [he already expects her to]. *sob*

btw, I had to use the big font while reading. I didn't want to miss a damn minute of this. I was so happy for DeLeon. He seemed so happy; almost lighthearted. I just know the other shoe will drop. 

I'll have to read this again and savour the festivities. Kendra is something else. I'm seeing more in common with DeLeon every minute. He's in love with his "crazy ass" and Kendra loves her "asshole". How endearing. LOL

I'm just so glad for them both, but particularly DeLeon since he doesn't seem to have had much joy in his life.

I like Ayy's relationship with DeLeon. It gives some additional insight into who he is. And Sammy! Figure he would have a horse of a dog as a pet. And he wants Sammy to meet Kendra, that's serious. I can't wait for this dinner. How will Kendra react considering she just got off thinking of DeLeon.

Dang, Kendra is making more enemies than she even knows about. And the Sheriff needs to back the hell up. He needs to remember that he's married and is not an option for Kendra. gah...

Prince being all Alpha is a real turn-on...

I.T., I.T., I.T., I can't sufficiently tell you how much I love this story. I was SCREAMING at DeLeon to open his damn mouth and put that child outta her misery.

I didn't realize I wasn't breathing until he said ""I missed you!"

I was like, about damn time. Can't wait for the continuation. It's a good thing that the table is made outta redwood. I hope all the furniture in his new home is made out of it. Something tells me it'll need to be.

And yeah, the doctor said makes it hard to get pregnant, not that she couldn't. And if anyone can get her pregnant, it's DeLeon.

Title: Crossing the Finish Line

I grew up in a Southern town like the one in this story. Very true to life even down to the guy being killed because he "liked" white girls. Not a memory I want to revisit.

Danny is the type of creep who grows up to be a legend in his own mind. I'm extremely interested in seeing whether Charlene is going to change Ryan and to what extent she does. He's already questioning some of his past behaviour in regards to all of the racist crap coming out of his friend's mouth.

Sad that there's places where people still have a problem with interracial relationships even in this day and age.  I've had moments like Ryan's where one my friends said something about a person of another race that's truly offensive.  In the past, it didn't really bother me and in some cases I may have even agreed with them, but once I personally got to know people of different cultures or races, it wasn't so easy for me to turn a blind eye to intolerance.

I'm about beyond tired of all the people treating Rory like she's somthing that you scrape off the bottom of someone's shoe. I thought Jason lived somewhere else with that banshee wife of his... gah... I find nothing remotely likeable about the most of these folks, except for Mike. I hope Rory bonds with him. I've always liked Mike, though.

Oh, I am so with you on that one.  These people have never heard of courtesy before.  And remember Jason said that he kept the penthouse for "just in case" moments.  But he and Lizzie Poo have their own house.  And Lizzie does have a key to the penthouse and she thinks that everything Jason has she's entitled to...LOL. 

I think want Rory and Mike to bond too.  They could have a great, grandad/grandaughter relationship.

David is dangerously obtuse. How much of it is that he doesn't want to see what's happening? I would be ready to strangle his ass.

Harrison might be in for a surprise with Amelle. And Oliva, Amelle needs to take special note of her conversation with her. 

“I am sure his Mummy and daddy want their son to be a future president, and you just don’t fit into that equation. I wager they picked Greenwich for its wealth, but they choose Belle Haven to get rid of you.” Olivia stared into her tea cup, her voice tumbling out of her mouth in a small and almost hypnotic whisper. “But Belle Haven has plans for you.”

Amelle needs to continue to be very observant. Knowledge is power and she will need all that she can gather if she's to survive this hell hole.

Title: Chapter 10: A Lover's Thoughts and Actions

good lawd where do I begin? David has not stood up to his parental units so far, there's nothing to indicate that he will in future. This chapter just made me more disgusted with this man-child. So far, David seems to be the only one getting what he wants in this relationship. At some point Amelle will realize that. At least, I'm hoping so. The chipping away at her spirit is so sad to witness. David is passively participating in her emotional destruction.

And Amelle, think about this, David wants nothing but your happiness as long as it coincides with his. just sayin'

Tobias needs to "fish or cut bait". My girl is going to get whiplash with all the back and forth. He needs to make up his damn mind as to whether he's going to own up to his feelings. It's not Serena's fault that he's being a pu*sy. Tobias is under the mistaken impression that he'll be able to stay away from her. He's had a sample of how it could be for them to be together and I don't think he'll be able to forget that.  He's setting them on a course for heartache and exposing Serena to the wrath of the fiancee. *smh. Tobias makes me want to slap the taste out his mouth*

Serena needs to go on and live her life. But you know  Tobias will freak if she gets real serious about someone. He doesn't want to man up, yet he doesn't want anyone else to have her. Well too bad, he can't expect for Serena to become a nun. 

I love all this angst. And boy was Tobias very good at stoking Serena's fires. That's called experience, baby. LOL
