I like your story thus far. But a tiny thing, and it probably doesn't matter to some but because I am of Latina decent, I've got to point it out. It's no really possible to be half hispanic and half white or black. Hispanic is not a race it's a culture. There are Chinese hispanics such as my friend Mei-Ling who grew up with her brothers in Argentina when her parents emigrated from China. She is 100% monogaloid racially and half Hispanic and and Chinese culturually since she embraces both of her cultures.
I always try to tell people about this false notion of a Hispanic because when you are black hispanic, people tend to think that means you are mixed with something and that's not true. My paternal grandather's mother was black and straight off the boat from Africa to Cuba. And his father from a traditional Spaniard family who was two generations Cuban. So even though my grandfather was indeed biracial, it wasn't because he was half Hispanic and half African it was because he was half black and white.
I am proud to be part Hispanic but much of blackness is erased away from our culture because people don't consider us black sometimes. LOL

I'm glad that Shenai didn't go trough with her plans. It would have been very selfish of her. She had all the time in the world to tell Jeremy how she feels about him. And to tell him now, just one day before his marriage would have been wrong and very selfish of her. To us Jade sounds kind of like a bitch, because we read this from Shenai POV, but to be honest she doesn't deserve this. It would have not been fair to her if Shenai went trough with her plans. Jeremy is also making a big mistake by marrying Jade without being in love with her. Its not fair to Jade and neither to him. He is going to be unhappy. But he has to figure this out on his own.
