I hope Grandma lays down the law with Jack and Chase and makes them both go to counseling.

There is so much hurt and pain they both have. 

The girl Chase is getting along with at work needs to be his new love interest.

This story is so good; I think Lila and Jack are made for each other. Lila's character may appear soft and gentle but underneath she is strong. I guess she has to be after the death of her sister and doing the job that she is doing as a counsellor which at can be emotionally giving and at times draining. I think in her eyes her relationship with Chase, was that as a big sister/mother type but I didn't think that Lila thought that after five years she would still have such a big involvement in his life.

That I think is due to a number of different reasons. Jack's not being around- no fault of his, he was dealing with his own grieve over his parents. I want to know why there weren’t other female figures around; I know that Chase and Jack's grandmother is still around, I wonder what her involved is like in grandsons’ lives. It must of being hard for her as well, grieving a lost of a child.

I think that Lila needs a man, that is assertive and strong who will be able to deal with her. I think at times she can shut people and not let them get too close out of her own fears. I think that Jack is ideal man to help her heal her and in the long term heal himself.

P.S Voices, who are the actors or models you chosen to be Lila and Jack? Both are very attractive.

Jack and Lila are fantastic together!  They just gel, even when they're bickering they're still soul-mates imo. Would Chase accept them as a couple? Could he? I believe wholeheartedly that he loves Jack...he just feels neglected and dejected by his brother.

I'm curious about Chase, actually i'm worried about him.  It appears that he's a loner and lonely and Lila is his only lifeline, or was until Jack took her away from him.  If he doesn't have Lila as his salvation, the what's left for him to hold on to? How does he cope with reality?

There's also the question of how he perceives his relationship with Lila to be...does he love her as a friend or a maternal substitute, or does he have romantic aspirations for her?  hmmm, interesting.

I think if they get together-Jack and Chase will eventually get closer.

Those were such great scenes with Jack and Lila.  I understand Lila so much more now and I understand Jack-I've ALWAYS understood him. I think he IS a nice guy despite what Lila and his brother thinks...at least Lila is realizing that Jack is not so bad.  The scene in the truck with her spilling her guts  TO him and her seeing the kindness in his eyes changed that.   She has feelings for him too (yeah she was jealous of Jessica)...and he cares about her too.  However, I noticed that Lila is still hesitant to move forward considering the chat she had with her friend in the school's cafeteria.  I LOVE her friend by the way.

Chase, poor Chase. I wish he would live his life and not seem so heartbroken over a grown woman...if anything he should see Lila as the big sister he's never had but he's acting like he is so lovesick. He even said he doesn't want to go Harvard and I think one of the reasons is because Lila is not there (hence him asking the most absurd question...wanting her to go with him).  Why can't he find friends his own age? I think he needed and still needs therapy.  What about Jack?  Sure.  Lila. Definitely yes...she's a grief counselor but she needs her own therapist to discuss of her feelings of loss with...

This was a REALLY GOOD chapter, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

I really liked how Lila and Jack got along in this chapter. I can't wait for them to finally get together!

Chase, Chasse, Chase, he is too young for Lila and needs to find a girl his own age. He knows how Jack feels about Lilla but he doesn't care. He's too busy making Jack out to be the bad guy.

I hope the three of them can come to some kind of civil understanding and get on with their lives.

I have to defend Jack for a minute when it comes to Chase. I feel like he gets the bad end of the deal because he wasn't there for Chase the way he needed to be. But I feel like Jack didn't know how to deal with his parents death anymore then Chase did, Chase reverted into himself and Jack did the same thing. Chase became obsessed with Lila, Jack became obsessed with work. yes Jack was the adult but he was a 23 year old not really an adult even though his age said he was given the responsibility of a teenager. He didn't know how to deal with that and he still doesn't. Jack doesn't know how to relate to Chase but he has done things in his power to make sure Chase had someone. And in the beginning of the story he also made sure he didn't do anything to hurt Chase. But maybe he needs to, maybe that is the only way for Chase to open up to Jack is for Jack to do something to piss him off. Either way both were given a raw deal but they are so much a like that they don't know how to deal with each other.

This chapter was full of drama. Chase needs to find someone his own age. I'm sure there are plenty of pretty sistas that would love to date him. As for Lila she know she wants that man. Go for it. She only gets to live once. Why not be happy and in love. Terreffic chapter.

AMAZING!!!! The intensity, the passion, between Lila and Jack is explosive and had me sitting on the edge of my seat wiping the drool away lol. Excellent job!
