So happy about the update.  I hope Chase accepts the fact that Lila looks at him as a little brother and some girl comes along  and get's Chases' attention and rocks his world.

Jack and Lila...I can feel it coming.  I hope that when it does happen (and it will) that Chase will have moved on and can accept it. Maybe something will happen to draw Jack and Chase together and they get to have that 'man to man' talk.  LOL

You must be commended for your writing skills.  I was in awe after reading this chapter.  You nailed their body language, emotions as well as the flow of the scenes.  You really get a feel for who Lila is, the love she has for Chase, for Jack (yes Jack!) and most touching, the depth of her bond with her sister! Brilliant technique in revealing that aspect of her life.

I'm not Siskel-&-Ebert but two thumbs up, way up! Great job!!

There is so much passion and tension in this my heart pounds with each sentence, I'm loving every minute of it. :)

This story is soo interesting and very well-written.  You've set up a really intriguing triangle with consequences that could be llife-changing for everyone involved but the part I'm enjoying the most is being torn between who to root for.  A mark of a great love story....Keep up the amazing work.

Terrific chapter!!

Okay now that was something.  There was something there. I wonder what happened that day when Lila let down her guard so much that she and Jack came together.  That was the night Jack feel in love but pushed it aside because of his brother.  I think he's had a difficult time dealing with the death of thier parents also and he did't have anyone he could go to. I think he also wanted to possibly share Lila's company but he gave that up for Chase. He's made sacrifices for his brother but Chase just doesn't know it.

I love this story and you are an AMAZING writer.. very discriptive without being OVERLY discritive which can make chapters way too wordy and you end up losing all that good feeling and chemistry that comes in a story like this. And I love how the characters are slowly developing and how you feel how much they all seem to really care about eachother and how much Lila cares for those kids. I just love the way you write lol

Im beginning to see how much alike Chase and Jack are especially when it comes to Lila. They play on her emotions and use them to manipulate her into doing what they want. The way they talk to her and watch her waiting for her to give in and bend to them. They're all in a huff until they start to see shes wavering and then they start sweet talkin her lol. But even though shes so sweet and wants to please and do whats best for everyone shes no push over and I like that. Otherwise she'd be in BIG trouble between these two.

Chase is kinda hard on Jack but Jack definitely should have tried harder to be there for him. I think Chase would have appreciated even a little effort but so far its lookin like he was NEVER there when he should have been and Chase WAS just a child. But it seems like Jack was running from some things as well and Im getting the feeling there is more to Jacks story than we've seen so far. No one is an innocent party in this except for 13 year old Chase and hes not 13 years old anymore. Its def time for him to grow up and Im seriously PRAYING he doesnt screw up his chances in Harvard over this.

Anyways, Im lovin this story.. Def a fave.. Update soon =)

Am I the only one who feels like Chase is still a contender? Well I do because even though he is still "a kid" as Lila likes to say, His emotions for her come across as genuine and unabashed. I'm not saying she fostered it knowingly but I also think she knows it Isn't just "puppy love" and so does Jack. And Jack realising that is having him come to terms with the fact his own feelings toward Lila aren't just physical.

For me , this is like the movie "Sabrina" (the original). This is maybe not the classic triangle but It's a believable one to me. Good on 'ya for the three person narrative and not beeing all cliché about the end game!

This is a lovely read can't wait for the rest!!!!!
