I'm being slightly naughty and reading from work. Hopefully my comments won't be too disjointed.
So I definitely was not expecting that twist with Melwas. I thought for sure the "him" Morguase referred to was Morgana's devil child. Wow Melwas is so slimy. Yes Arthur I agree show Melwas no mercy. Wow Morguase's plot goes deep. Its doesn't seem like something that can be solved in just a few chapters does this there may be a follow-up in the works??? :)
You know everytime I read your updates the amount of time and hard work you put into them always comes through. It inspires me to work just as hard on The Exile. Thanks for sharing this story with us dearie.
btw- Its about Arthur put the smackdown on that fool!!!

I'm glad the Melwas twist caught people by surprise, although there were a few subtle hints along the way. Yes the Triple Morrigan and Morgause have an intricate plot, but I expect all shall be resolved in roughly 6 or so chapters. :) I love this story but I need to see it through to the end.

Was that really Morgana with Sir Leon? Has she had a change of heart? I know she is struggling with handling Guinevere...
To know that Arthur was following her, makes me feel good in a stalkerish kind of way. I am glad that Guinevere wasn't violated.
You have left a lot to "clean up" now that Melwas has been discovered and I still want to know if that was Morgana.
P.S. I loved that Mithian knew she didn't have a chance with Arthur. That was a great scene between the two of them... well done.

Thanks so much for your review! It was actually Morgana who fetched Arthur (if you re-read the scene where she's reminiscing, she changes her mind and runs out to the training field to get Arthur). So Arthur isn't stalking Gwen :)
I'm really glad you enjoyed the Mithian/Gwen scene; it was tough to write but I felt it was important :)

Thank-you so very much for rescuing Gwen before the devil had his way with her! Gosh, my heart was pounding and I could almost feel myself there in the forest with them; very well written!
So glad Morgana had a change of heart and went to get Arthur; love the fact that he is Gwen's knight in shining armour.
I feel for the princess, and hope she finds the one for her, as it's obvious that it isn't Arthur.
Loving this story; can't wait for the next update!

When will Mithian overstay her welcome? She knows Arthur belongs to Guinevere. Why won't she call off the wedding?
Felt bad for Mithian until "a princess is worth nothing if she can't procure a strong ally" line. Did she threatened Guinevere to stay away from Arthur? Or was she pleading for Guinevere to give Arthur to her? What a pathetic, desperate, and selfish princess!

Thanks for your review! I actually quite like Mithian and I don't interpret her as pathetic or desperate, rather a strong and loving woman who's determined to make the best of her circumstances despite the limitations of her title.

About time Arthur gave that LIBIDINOUS AND FILTHY WRETCH AND ANIMAL Melwas his just desserts! He should have done that in Eirinn.
Why Morgana? How could she have forgotten their beautiful memories growing up as kin? Are Morgause and Mordred really worth losing a dear sister?
Is Arthur still going through the political marriage with the princess of Nemeth? I was under the impression he decided he will follow his heart.
It is never wise to marry a man whose heart is already spoken for. Someday Mithian will find her true love. Patience is a virtue! Arthur was never hers and never will be. When will she understand that?
Why won't Arthur order Melwas's execution? He has insulted the pride and honor of Eirinn by attempting to ravish the heir to the island?
