Why is she so concern with who he is eating with? She wants her cake and eat it too.

Sd, her husband died so young. Was she afraid to look at him or be with him, because he reminds he of her husband, his eyes for sure. At least she opened up to him, and hopefully this will be the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Dinner should be interesting.

So her husband died from cancer, still doesn't make me like her any better. Chris is hurt just like Allegra was, he was immature he was hurt and had shut down. Laurence was being a pain in the ass instead of being his friend. He has promised to do better. I can't wait to read more.

Allegra..either you love her or hate her. She seems to hate Chris, but that's far from the truth. She is attracted to him instantly. She just doesn't like the fact that he dared to say that she isn't tempting enough for him, and that she looks barely tolerable. That's a real blow to her self esteem. Since then, I guess she porbably swore to hate Chris for the rest of her life. Little does she know that Chris is an amazing person. :D
Laurence is a real friend. You'll see that as we go along. He's always there for Chris, especially when he needs it the most.

I absolutely love this story. It has just the right amount of comedic factor and it makes it easy to fall in love with the characters. I love it.
